The only heat generated by this apparatus (or anything like it) is the heat energy produced by the candles. How many candles do you need ? That's not hard to figure out: burning a pound of paraffin wax produces 19,900 BTU (British Thermal Units) of heat energy. There are many heat-loss calculators online, that tell you how many BTU/hour you need to generate in order to heat a room, based on the size of the room, the insulation, the outside temperature, and the desired inside temperature. This is simple high-school physics. google "heat loss calculator" ... pick one enter your room dimensions and insulation write down the BTU/hr it says are needed to heat the room to the desired temperature multiply by 24 .. this gives the number of BTU per day you need, divide by 19,900 .. this gives the number of POUNDS of candles you must burn (completely burn) to heat the room per day. example: a 9x12x8 (WxLxH) foot room, with "mediocre" insulation. Outside temperature is 20F, desired inside temp is 50F. you need 1775.2 BTU per hour --> 42604.8 btu per day --> 2.1 pounds of candles burned (completely burned) per day. UCO (brand) candles are 47 grams. that's 47/453.6 = 0.104 pounds/candle. So you need to burn : (2.1 pounds/day ) / (0.104 pounds/candle) = 20.2 candles per day.. On Amazon a 20 pack of these candles costs $26.99 So the cost to heat this room with UCO candles is over $27 per day. You can make those 42,604.8 btus from (42604.8 btu/day) / (91452 btu/gallon) = 0.467 gallons of propane per day. During the 2023/2024 heating season the national average price for a gallon of propane was $3.69 (delivered). So your heating cost with propane: 0.467 * $3.69 = $1.72 per day. The difference in cost per day (between candles and propane) would pay for a propane heater pretty quickly.

It's so strange. I don't consider women under 6'0" to be tall. I'm 5'11", and I don't think women my height and under actually experience the tall struggle. I find a lot of cheap, thrifted clothing!

Well, all my life I was considered as very tall and always have struggled with getting clothes in right size for me or their length, so it’s probably depends on a perspective. I am happy you find your ways around!

Does air flow matter? I would assume so, but I’m mainly talking about carbon monoxide.. not sure that tea lights on their own produce much and I’d also assume that not much would produce when multiples are used unless the space is incredibly small. But I dunno.. is anyone with knowledge on this have a way to answer with facts? I think it’s important to have these methods to help just in case something happens where we need them but also think we need to remember safety and assure that ourselves and family’s aren’t going to get sick or worse because we maybe should’ve thought about ventilation. Only looking for knowledge and facts to better myself and what to do, I promise I’m not coming at anyone because I actually know this stuff. Just wanna be sure I’m doing it the right way for my fam and that others are too. ✌️💜😊🕯️

I find it unbelievable that we’re being pushed into searching for information like this.. especially with the technology we have today and the amount of wealth that’s being squandered by the people who are depriving the world of a comfortable way of life through their greed and their lies. We should be thankful to our overlords for the couple of candles each week and the dried mealworms for our lunch . . Yeah right !

This will not give off any more heat than four candles can alone. The first law of thermodynamics says you can not create more energy than the amount supplied.

I had to stop watching the video after you said, "For safety reasons, separate the candles from each other" that is possibly the dumbest fking thing ive heard... WOULNT WANT THE CLAY POT OR CONCRETE BLOCKS TO MELT. 🤦‍♂️
@JolitaBartkus
@JolitaBartkus 8 ай бұрын
@paulleonard7038 That's OK not to watch everything. That's OK to have an option write your opinion and express it the comment. That's not OK to swear while you doing it. However, if you would think 2 cm (or 0,787 of inches, depending on your reality) further you would let the pots and concrete behind and concentrate on the candles only. In my young years I had a stupidity to lit a bundle of tiny candles all at once. They looked nice and cosy until begun to melt into one and all their flames united. It caught up quite large flame and there were not the few tiny burning candles anymore, there was a one thick candle with several burners and a huge flame, which didn't look cosy anymore and I was lucky seeing it happening and could prevent a possible fire. I am pretty sure that wouldn't happen with the tea lights, but I am just pretty sure, so would risk checking it out or encouraging someone else to do that in their homes.
