My buddy Garry waited three and a half years to see Chris de burgh. Only to miss the encore of don’t pat the ferryman because he was on the phone in the foyer talking about stolen shopping carts

Took my wife to one of his concerts in Ottawa back in the late 80’s early 90’s. I was not a fan at the time, but after that show at the Civic Centre I became a big fan and have been ever since. He uses Canadian musicians on his Canadian leg of the tour. Great vocalist and musician! He was also recording for a liv album at the time.
