If you want to check out some later Minor Threat (I think it was their last recordings 1985?): the single Salad Days (which includes the songs Stumped and Good Guys Don’t Wear White) all great songs but I especially like Stumped :)

These guys were so good live back in the day... Saw them at warped tour 2003 they played about 15 songs it seemed like in a 30 minute set... it was insane how they played faster than the recordings and didn't ruin the vocals or the instrumentation one of the best bands ive ever seen live

Shante wasn't the first female on record. Sha-rock of the hip-hop group funky 4 plus 1 more is the first, but In New York the first female group in the 70's is the Mercedes Ladies. They released one joint in '87. Shante is one of the first female emcees. Vicious battler inher day. I wouldn't battle her today.

Weird reaction video. No reactions. Just five minutes of a soft head bob and a nonplussed facial expression. It’s below the line of what entertainment is on a conceptual level. Just taking someone else’s art and passively absorbing it… like he’s done something other than press play and slip on some headphones.

I am not a fake reactor I don’t fake my reaction like any other channels you watch. This is my real reaction to the music so what do you mean “ just taking someone else’s art and passively absorbing it “.

@@Nathann1000 I didn’t say you faked it, nor did I tell you to fake it. I’m saying your reaction video is dull and lifeless. If there’s nothing entertaining about a video you make, don’t post it. Either that, or cone up with things you can do. Create commentary Compare / contrast Rate Dunno. I’m not here to tell you how to do your video. But you are certainly using the song (you didn’t create) as a crutch because there is zero entertainment value, otherwise. Try harder.

@jimslav6973 it’s just a song that I listen to that other people in the comments wanted me to listen to. My video doesn’t have to be entertaining or fake it’s just a song that I’m listening to, in the video it’s just the real me and if you don’t like it then don’t watch it then it doesn’t have to be that serious. I’m not using the song and I’m not saying that I created the song, I’m just listening, and I’ve been talking some more and more in my other reactions.

@@Nathann1000 I think you are misunderstanding me. I’m not saying you are doing anything wrong, at all, in a moralistic sense. You are not doing anything wrong. I repeat. You are not doing anything wrong. I repeat. You are not doing anything wrong. One more time so you get it. You are not doing anything wrong. You are not doing anything wrong. If you get what I’m saying wrong from here on out, I don’t know what to tell you. There’s only so many times I can say it. You are not doing anything wrong. What I am saying is this. The only entertainment value of your video is the song. You should be adding entertainment, in some form. Get me now?

It's not 12 XU, it's 1,2,XU. And the X is replacing the word fuck, so it's really 1,2, fuck you, Wire wrote the song in 1976/77. Ian Mackaye of Minor Threat was a big fan of Wire. From what I can gather from reading a book about the DC punk scene, a lot of the bands were into Wire and at one gig Minor Threat and the supporting bands agreed between themselves to include a cover of this song their sets. This track is probably Wire's most basic punk type song. They quickly expanded well beyond the confines of punk rock, even on their debut album, which this track appears on, they were already moving in a different direction. If you want to leap forward 2 years from this song then try out their track Map Ref. 41°N 93°W.
