Because stuns purpose is to stop you from playing, and though it’s far too successful those negate boards are just difficult puzzles to solve. There’s rarely any interruption chance to prevent a stun deck from setting up, so you’re locked out instantly, but if you have the cards (which most people do 🙄😒) you can interrupt the negate board setup causing the final board to either be weaker or sometimes stopping it completely from being setup… I personally hate both ways of playing. I been winning so many match because people timing out because they’re so dedicated to not letting me have anything on the field by the end of their turn they just keep doing plays and not reading.

Both ends of a pretty shitty spectrum. You cant justify stun OR a deck that specifically hates opponents and just wants to build Itself. Its people. The community. Its trash.

@@magus_series you say that the purpose of stun is to stop people from playing. Can you tell me the purpose of the other decks? It seems like the same thing to me. Take Yubel for example. You may as well call it stun, by that definition becuase of, again, handtraps, mixed with aforementioned recursion, along with pretty much being immune to the primary use of most monsters: battle. I'm not trying to start any kind of animosity. Just wondering.

Well from my understanding one side has interaction while Stun removes a feature of a game. Granted the interaction is limited if you have nothing, stun is worse in the sense that you are not really playing anymore because a function of the game has been removed.

@@creativehuman2974 @lazyguy2086 that’s exactly it… they are both terrible experiences to endure, but as unpleasant as it may be there’s at least interaction against negate boards. No ones going to adjust their deck to deal with stun when they encounter it once every 3 months, but it does tend to show when you’re trying to move up a rank. Everybody plays expecting the negates, so the surprise factor and losing a rank up match could also be a cause for the stun hate over negate boards. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I wouldn’t consider yubel a stun deck, it’s more of a control deck. Just like Lab in all its annoying glory is considered a control deck though when it gets going it feels like you can’t do anything. Control decks typically require a bit of setup to start controlling. Things you can usually interact with and potentially prevent. Stun plays a monster, equips it, and sets back row. Every moment after that the majority of your deck can’t be used.

Fair enough. At least it’s the only stun card I run for this deck

That the bugs try to predict your movement instead of just blindly following you?.. Idk about you but that’s something other games should learn from since melee enemies that just blindly chase after you kinda.. suck

@ that’s not keylogging by definition. It’s input reading, since the game reads your directional movement inputs and adjusts the AI pathing in real time. And I don’t even think it’s that since the bugs take a second to adjust

ohhh, makes sense I always wondered why especially the hive guard and brood commanders were so quick to adjust to my attempts to go around them
