He would still be playing in the NFL if he stayed at VT his last year to develop more. He had so much potential, VT would've did work the next season.

Cam Newton didn't have NFL talent around him and was still far more efficient than Evans. They are not comparable at all.

this kid looks better than any qb, in the draft. I'd take him in the 3rd or 4th. Watson is also a good pick. he has that clutch trait, which as you know it's one the most important.

Totally sick year in Blacksburg for Jerod. He came in to a new program, guided us to an unforgettable season, set a bunch of school records and now he's off to the NFL. Go Jerod!

I see a half dozen QBs who are about the same in quality. Evans is one of them. He put 35 points on Clemson, & brought his team from way back in his last bowl game, so I think he can compete in the NFL.

he's got a nice touch and feel to where to throw those sweet floaters. giving time for WR to adjust. instead of just whipping the ball. not bad.
