@@jamaicahampton4818 you can do this. Ask Jesus to help you and set you free. I've learned over the years that as long as you keep a "friendship or love" with the sin choice, you can't be free. You have to make a choice to view that bad habit as your enemy and turn away from it. For Example drugs.....or maybe alcohol....its not your friend. It promises temporary pleasure, satisfaction, or relief but in reality it actually enslaves you. Deliverance is for the desperate. The encouragement here is that we all mess up, that's why Jesus gave his life for us,so that when we do we can run to him, confess it and ask Him to set us free, and He will forgive us and help us. In the book of Matthew Jesus reminds us that the best way to get free from something that is tempting you is to get rid of it, run away from it, cut it out of your life completely.
