Why’d you wash the onion skin, you threw it out anyway

Hey, good question. I want it washed before it touches the chopping board, otherwise the outside unwashed skin debris touches the peeled onion, and anything else that I might need the chopping board for in general.

Hey! Yoghurt contains lactic acid and is used as a leavening agent when combined with the baking powder. If you type in vegan soda bread, you will see some creative ideas such as using using lemon juice and and soy milk instead. Another alternative is buttermilk. I have not tried any of these variations - all the best with your endeavours, and if you’re happy to, come back and let us know how you got on! ☺️

If I’ve got some extra ripe bananas, I love making baked oats for breakfast. You need about 30 minutes to cook them though, so it’s more a weekend breakfast.

It balances the acidity of the tomatoes. This is a typical practice when making a tomato sauce from scratch, however, people or ready made sauces often use sugar. It doesn’t make the sauce taste sweet, but enhances flavour ☺️

Hey Jennifer! I have not tried to make them without eggs, but an egg free pancake recipe is an idea for me to consider. If you like the taste of pancakes, I think you will like this recipe (they do not taste of eggs). Blessings ☺️
