Also depends where you get. If kitty was outside or not raised with care by people. They will be more nervous of people and take more time to adjust

Hey, just saw your message, I hope he is settling in well. Apparently kittens can cry out for a bit while they are adjusting, as they are "calling out to their mum". That's what our breeder said. Our female cat did cry out for the first 2 nights, and then she stopped. Our little male cat didn't cry.

They do tend to shed a lot and need to be brushed regularly. That may mean once a week, or a few times a week. Apparently they have baby fur for the first year or just over, so they can shed more during that time. I'd suggest to stay on top of it to remove hair that comes out easily.

Thanks for your comment Tony. Regarding taking my kitten off the book shelf as she began to be inquisitive, we didn't want her thinking it was okay to climb it. She hasn't ever done it since which is great. We allowed her to slowly explore the house so she felt safe and felt familiar in her own time. 😊 Sometimes when animals sniff and investigate it can be good to take them to the litter tray early on so they don't have accidents and mark their territory. Both our cats are very inquisitive, which is heart warming to watch. 😊

They learn it from their mothers.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Mosby was around $2100 including shipping interstate and the crate to keep. Ruby was just above $1800 for memory including shipping, but no crate. Ruby came with a bag of food and a few toys also. 😊

Sorry for the late reply. We have 2 litter trays. Both kittens adapted well using the same trays. We only have 1 area in our town house to be able to keep the litter trays, and the cats have access to it at all times and don't mind them being in the same room. We do empty frequently also :)

Definitely both breeds are beautiful in temperament and are gorgeous. Yes our cats love to sit with us. I need to video them more to capture it :D I've got quite a few photos of them on my instagram if you want to check them out. @amylifts_ is my username. All the best in finding a cat. :)

Also, My female cat is way more affectionate and likes being held compared to my male cat. My previous cat was male and it would only sit with me on his terms. When I would pick him up and lay him on me, he would get up straight way, same with my current male cat. This is my first time having a female cat and I LOVE IT!

Thank you so much!! She is a absolute beautiful cat. She's getting a little cheeky recently jumping onto our kitchen counter, but she is so affectionate, loves laying on me or sitting beside me when we watch movies. :)
