What a glorious piece this is. Chris Bowater's Faithful God is one of my greatest favourite songs and Andrew Wainwright's wonderful music is superbly played by MSB. The finale is absolutely brilliant and the audience response so well deserved, Thanks to all concerned !

Still a classic after all these years. I loved to play the solo horn part in the second movement. Happy memories. PS: How about all those stand up collar tunics?

A lovely arrangement beautifully played. It's helpful to have the words on which the music is based.

Interesting that he stood over on the trombone side vs. cornet side where most soloists tend to be positioned. Great job young fella! Putting this one (audio) in MY archives.

Why do you do that? Music is worth loving it. Such a stupid show doesn't fit to an outstanding band as you are😢

Hello there. Our mission is focused on proclaiming the hope of the gospel in music and word with excellence, hence we occasionally use very different means to connect with people who wouldn’t normally love brass band music. It’s now 8 years since Boundless when these presentations were a wonderful success. Since then, we have also explored other creative ways to use our music to share Jesus. We realise some prefer our more traditional concerts and it won’t surprise you that we also relish those opportunities ourselves, presenting both classics and new works by the incredible group of composers the Army has around the world. God bless!

I thought this arrangement is for Brittney Lyn
@MelbourneStaffBand
@MelbourneStaffBand Жыл бұрын
Hi there - Brittney actually composed it herself, inspired by music from the Kid’s Musical ‘Psalty’ that was significant to her as a youngster. She is doing quite well in developing her composition and the MSB has enjoyed using several of her arrangements.
