As much as I like Nanashi/Hikari’s story, it kind of sucks that she never interacted with Naruto or took an actual look into his memories. It feels like if anyone could truly understand how she felt, it would be Naruto.

Personally i wish Sarada was the main focus, and experienced the Uchiha story like an in game movie, but Boruto saving her at the end was great too.

Boruto and hikari do share similarities with multiple pairs, naruhina is one of them yes but the parallel is especially strong between boruto/hikari and naruto/sasuke. Tons of similarities between the 2 pairs starting by the most obvious one, boruto being the the only one who's never ever once turned his back on her no matter what even though she screamed at him countless times to go away, the only one capable of reasoning with and saving her, an uchiha consumed by her own hatred. Hikari's one AND ONLY friend in this world. There is also that moment when boruto and hikari took the exact same pose naruto and sasuke took before fighting momoshiki. Hikari had SASUKE'S pose and boruto had NARUTO'S so it's completely assumed by the writers themselves, hikari is literally boruto's own "sasuke".

way too good for a non canon game character and a non canon story, in some way i'm hoping the fans can somehow encourage the writers to bring Hikari's story to the canon? Matter of fact, Screw it! I 1000% agree, hikari is such a captivating and adorable character that absolutely doesn't deserve to be game only at all and that bond she has with boruto man, interesting and well written, would make even the coldest man on earth shed atleast a small tear. I swear they could made an episode about her chilling around the leaf doing nothing or eating pineapple pizza and i would still dig it. All that effort making such a great character only to kill her off and be forgotten by the main cast in the end , come on bro 😅
