@ If interested watch the movie/documentary “On Any Sunday” from 1971. Steve McQueen is in it riding a Husqvarna 400 Cross. His racing alias was Harvey Mushman. He was the real deal in those MX events back in the day. He was a true badass American with true grit.

In 2001 I had the opportunity to sit in a 917 at Virginia International Raceway. I'm 6'4", the car isn't. I was chief driving instructor for the Potomac Porsche Club and just sitting in the car gave me chills. Almost had to use a can opener to get out, but I do have pictorial evidence that I was there. In 1971, "Le Mans" (the movie) started my life-long fascination and pseudo racing career. These cars are fly weight and absolutely scream at full throttle.

Unfortunately, I can't remember if the car was one that was used in filming or used as a touring car for the TV Show. If you look at about 50 Secs into the video, you'll see a plaque on the car with more information. I think the Volvo Museum has a Munsters Koach as well. Sorry, it was about 2yrs since being there.
