That museum is the Ông-Io̍k-Tek(王育德) Memorial Hall. Ông-Io̍k-Tek was a writer, linguist, and Taiwanese independence activist. The museum showcases Ông-Io̍k-Tek's life, including his furniture and the books he read. Ông-Io̍k-Tek fled to Japan in resistance to Chiang Kai-shek's authoritarian rule. After his exile in Japan, he served as a professor.
