@@AwakenYourMindUS I used it as part of a training program for over a decade in the eighties and nineghties. The outcome was beyond expectations. Not just a book, a manual. You read it, put it down go about your life then come back and read once more. I gave a copy to my son in the early nineties. Twenty years later I found a copy on his table and I commented: This book looks as knew as when I gave it to you. he replied: Dad, that's the fourth copy. I believed him, for he exudes the message of the book.

Interesting excerpt from Jane Robert's, but I'm so tired of this awful John Housman AI that's popping up all over KZbin. I'd rather hear a human read this. I can't resonate with the 2D lack of energy in AI generated speech.

I do resonate with the thought that everything that we experience of the external world is "symbolic" in a sense. Yet likening such stimuli to written or printed letters on the page is an imperfect analogy, in that the latter are completely arbitrary. They can be in any shape, color, or language that we choose, and take on meaning and functionality only by collective agreement. In contrast, objects in nature - a plant leaf for example - have a practical form and functionality that is tied to their existence. Moreover, their existence is independent of subjective observation. Our local consciousness cannot decide that a leaf should be something else or function a different way (at least not without crude technological intervention - factory farming for example). The “symbolic” quality in nature lies in the likely fact that every existent thing rides atop forces, processes, and relationships that run deeper than we can detect and understand at out current stage of conscious development. Accordingly, “leaf” is a useful summary label for referring to such, in a way that enables us to marshal forces beyond present understanding. Alternative and New Age philosophies often suggest that we “create our reality”, yet it is probably more accurate to hold that each of us create our own *experience* of reality.

In "Theravada" Buddhism in Sri Lanka, all enlightened "Baghavath Buddhas" appear on earth after eons of life times of purification of the mind, as a fulfilling universal qualification to perfecting qualities of "conscious energies" described in Sri Lankan Buddhist texts "Pali Thripitaka" as "paramitha kamma" (perfectible universal deeds). The Baghvath Buddha has described beings existing in 31 realms. All creations in this universes are "energies" with influence of the "elements" under "causality". The Buddha has described how universal energy called "kamma" manifests in human form through human faculties of seeing, hearing, smelling, taste, touch & mind (past experiences) called aggregates, amalgamating with external world experiences of feelings through the "Human heart " organ as electrical wave signals to develop a "seed" to become "conscious energy" which continues to the brain as a "thought" and this continuation of experience is stored in the "sub conscious" mind in the human brain called "mano" (pali ) (mind) in Buddhism. This" perception " action is called "thought". Thought becomes a conscious energy called "kamma/karma in Buddhism.
