This is 100% my Dad. My grandfather would just take the time to explain why that is not the correct tool. My Dad would point at a table that had a hundred different tools on it and tell me hand me that. If I gave him the wrong tool it would go flying and hit the wall!!!

I just bought my first oil filter yesterday for my first car, to replace it myself. Google Spies have been listening on seeing i get Shorts about oil filters now.

Unless the guy did 140000 miles between changes this is total BS, even skipping 20 000 I would not.look like this.

It might be possible. When I was a teenager, my friend's mom had a car that was only about 2 years old. Her engine light came on and she asked me to look at her car. I asked her when the last time she had an oil change was, and she said "Never had one." The car had 32,000 miles. I didn't cut open the filter, BUT, there was almost no oil left in the car, and nothing but sludge and metal shavings came out of the oil pan. It's plausible that the video is showing a car that hasn't had an oil change in 9 months, AND has a lot of miles.

I remember when they were corded and you had to plug them into snaking extension cords and you could just hang on to the cord and lower it down to the floor gently

We've all been there, and not just with brake calipers. There's always something where you sweat for four hours if not four days, only to find out or figure out the tool or method that takes five minutes.😊

i mean.... you don't have to look at the arrow to be like hmmm... it's not rotating that way let me try to other way and see what happens.
@nathanross963Ай бұрын
I didn’t even know these types of calipers existed and I told my niece I can change her breaks to save her some time and money and I’ll do them for her. Well 4 hours later of me prying it with all my might all for a 45 min break job and I googled it and bought the tool and had it done in 30 min.
