Hi, I just found your video on glyphs and how to use them. Love the Samantha font but it doesn't seem to be on CF anyhow. I found one that says it's "Samantha Upright" but does not have all the glyphs. Who created the font. Maybe if I search by the name of the person/persons it will come up. THX

I just searched CF and you are right, they must have taken it off and I can't seem to find it anywhere else either. Here are two that have some extra glyphs. I'll keep looking to see if I can find something as close to it as possible. www.creativefabrica.com/product/samantha-28/ref/475981/ www.creativefabrica.com/product/samantha-calligraphy/ref/475981/

Do you use straight bleach in the spray bottle or do you dilute with water?

Hi have you ever seen those vinyl stickers at hobby lobby? I would like to know if those stickers are the same as the ones you are using in this video , that you just press it and it will transfer the sticker or is different?

Does it feel like vinyl or papery as some people say?
@saragerend
@saragerend 16 күн бұрын
It does have a texture unlike sublimation. I’d say it’s not as thick as vinyl. It’s more noticeable on shirts, but on the leather, can koozie, and bags it definitely is a lot smoother and seems to be more in the fabric if that makes sense.

Hey Sara, I love your video.💕 Tons of helpful info and great demonstrations. Thank you so much for sharing. Question: You mentioned that you put the bleached shirts directly in the washer after they finished processing in the sun. Other people say you should put the shirts in the hydrogen peroxide to stop the process after reaching the color stage you want. I just want to make sure it's ok to wash them instead of putting them in the peroxide first. Also, did you immediately wash all the different colored shirts together or separately? Thank you 😊
@saragerend
@saragerend Ай бұрын
Im so glad you found it helpful:) That is a great question! Yes, you can spray it with hydrogen peroxide if you want to and I sometimes do. If I’m working on a lot of shirts and want to stop the processing on some before the others are done I’ll spray them. If it’s really hot and sunny and they are turning too fast for me, I’ll spray them. But, sometimes I skip it. I do throw them all in the wash together and never had an issue with colors bleeding. I hope that was helpful:)

@saragerend
@saragerend 2 ай бұрын
Hi! It means Direct To Film printing. For decals or stickers they use a UV curing ink. They are more durable than regular stickers making them great for cup, mugs, tumblers…things that get wet and more wear and tear on them.

Um, I'm confused. What part of this is a hack? It's stickers being used as stickers.
@saragerend
@saragerend 3 ай бұрын
The cold transfer stickers are different than regular stickers. They are comparable to the uv dtf stickers which are more durable and waterproof. So, if you make your own stickers it would be like adding that extra laminate sheet to the top. Better for things like water bottles, tumblers, cars…things like that.

Do you just come here to complain? To some new who can't afford a cricut or other vinyl machines need info like this. These are not plain stickers. If that were the case pretty sure she would not have posted anything for you to be upset over. Congratulations to making people who want to learn feel like they wasted time not realizing the difference from a Paw patrol sticker for paper crafting and a lasting waterproof re- washable sticker longer wear and tear.

I asked because I wanted to know if I missed something. A hack is when you use something in a way other than it's intended purpose to achieve a different goal. These are stickers and they are being used as stickers. When I read the title of the video I thought it was going to show me a hack to create UV DTF.

Great ideas. Thanks for sharing. Love your tutorials, your instructions are so easy to follow and make me feel reasonably confident to try some of your DIYs for myself. I have a Cricut Maker 3 Cricut Explore Air 2 and Cricut Joy Xtra, and love them all. I'm always learning something new. I really struggle when it comes to really thin fonts, and have wasted sooooo much material and cried many rivers of frustration over them! It was recommended to add the thinnest offset possible when using thin fonts, this has been an absolute game changer for me, as when using an offset on thin fonts, I haven't had any problems with my Cricut Machines cutting thin fonts. I love Creative Fabrica and use it daily. I started off with the monthly subscription and loved it so much that I upgraded to yearly membership when I had some extra money. I also extended my membership using their Add a year Special Offer. I also use Design/Font Bundles, TheHungryJPEG but Creative Fabrica is always my first stop.
