Need encouragement this morning? I woke up to find myself in a very challenging, frightening place this morning. Oh sure . . . I've been able to hold the reality of it at a distance for a while, but this morning at 4:30 . . . WHAM!! It may take me weeks to recover from this emotional punch, because this great video hit me really, REALLY hard. It was 2020 and "Hyannis Sound", the phenomenal a cappella group from Cape Cod had to cancel all concerts because of Covid. To encourage themselves and others they virtually got together and made this inspired cover recording. Just why this video greeted me when I booted up the computer, I may never know . . . no . . . wait . . . I DO know!

My goodness this is next level

One of the very best performances of this song I've ever heard from any group, out of many dozens. And I've sung this too with various groups, so I can say this one is airtight and just right! The only thing to make it better would be a mic for the fantastic soloist Max, so the balance is more of him over the supporting vocals.

The racial composition of this choir is eery. Like a university pamphlet cover.
