Looks too much like a giant Apple product. Too machine-made. I love the Brisbane modern residential work that uses wood and other more natural materials. Not much character to add to the neighborhood. Kind of invasive in scale and materials. Too much white drywall inside, big open, empty-feeling spaces. Doesn't feel like a home.

To other viewers, look up "Brisbane Architecture", and John Ellway, and Donovan Hill as more architects that are creating a fresh and livable alternatives to contemporary residential architecture.

I just visited this house on another posting and want to thank you for this video version (rather than still photos), This is indeed a remarkable house. Thoughtful on every detail, subtle and surprising, materials are perfectly contrasted, the lighting is varied and integrated into the structure to enrich every space. I think it adapts traditional Japanese architecture in fresh ways that are compelling and ultimately successful in creating very livable homes.
