We don't just consider ourselves Christians. We are the oldest Christians about 2000 years. We were already in existence for about 1500 years after the 1st protestant came to be. Incase no know, it was Pope Saint Damasus I, who made the Christian bible by the end of the 3rd century and declare to the world that the bible was the word of God. So you see, everyone who claims to be a Christian benefited from the Catholics. By the way, we were already calling ourselves Christians that came from us as well
