Really well done tutorial! Like all good lessons, it isn't just the fat of how it is done, but the way you lay it out so carefully in an easy to digest manner. I hope it is not rude to say, but the lyric is "can't buy a thrill" And yes, you are pretty!

I'm older than dirt, and "Wildwood Flower" is a song I have yet to cover because I'm scared to! (I don't want to mess it up!) Because, it is so "simple" and the backbone of my heritage here in East Tennessee! The Carter Family got started more than 100 years ago! Mother Maybelle is the grandmother of the riff in this song that influenced EVERYTHING since! But, I'm going to pay attention to THIS lesson! I want to NAIL this song if I ever "do" it! (I admit that MOST of the covers I've done over the years are just half-ass "goofing around"! But, THIS SONG is important!

This song was NOT wrote by Don Henley, (It was actually a Jackson Browne/Glen Fry tune ...THEREFORE "why" we are allowed to post covers/tutorials/whatever of it on KZbin!) ....Don Henley/his "publishers" wear aggressive ass-hats hunting-down covers of anything "Don's songwriting touched"! Excellent job Melissa ! The way you manage to mix pure theory, singing and chords is a real good demo. As a guitarist myself (but more like country style "Don Williams") I must say you nailed it ! and specially the yodelling part which is not easy to sing at the beginning. Just a huge, enormous BRAVO ...! And plus, you are a charming and talented young lady.
