Interesting setup. I would have made the intake a bit different where crafting the front panel would be a custom sheet steel design (same kind of galvanized sheet steel used in HVAC) to fit over the entirety of the evaporator coil and then using a duct boot like you have there to transition to the return. Using tools like pop rivets and metal snips makes the work look more professional and the supply vent maybe insulated with exterior barrier-style foam sheeting and securing into place and reducing leaks with the handyman's secret weapon: foil duct tape.

I have wanted to attend but we live in the Philippines. Ordering Drexel or the other better product out of Tennessee is difficult let alone traveling to the workshop. Where there is a will there is a way. I am considering the online course. I am curious how the communication is regarding questions with the online course. Love the material.

I've heard that aircrete is difficult to get consistency in the mix, sometimes its too brittle, sometimes it collapses in on itself.

i bought 5 acres in oklahoma. The land that I bought is super wet. I have a lot of creeks Crossing this property but it's absolutely gorgeous. I would love to build some small structures here and there over the 5 acres. There are so many beautiful sights. But I'm in tornado country so I'm not sure what type of structures I should be building. I am thinking about monolithic domes. What are your thoughts
@iqbalhusnoo8070Ай бұрын
Hello, I am from a country that usually gets to deal with cyclonic condition. This means similar to a Tornado, it also comes with wind gust ranging 60kmh up to above 250 kmh. The safest option from storm wind is concrete building with good Architecture + flat concrete roof. Doors & windows can be suggested by the manufacture to resist strong wind gust with additional outdoor hard panels on hinges to closed in case of occurence. Hope the best for you.

How does aircrete dome homes fair agaisnt hurricanes? I livee in east Puerto Rico
@Flyboyminer2 ай бұрын
Hurricanes are a different level of threat on a house. Domes work great against the wind. The weak points will be windows (gonna need some type of hatch to secure over the glass) and drainage (gotta have a place where your water can go during that flooding). Get those 2 things and domes will be just fine imho.
@user-sk3zi6mr2w19 күн бұрын
Any dome will do great against Wind. That s the power of geometry. Aircrete dômes have proven their worth AS LONG AS THE CONCRETE IS PROPERLY DONE. Density of foam and load in cement are key factors.

Question. I know in 27 you talk about driveways, and mentioned that pieces break off. In this video you talk about foundations. How about pouring a slab on grade that will be covered with flooring? Also, does it work well with hydronic floor heating systems? Thank you in advance.

M'kay. Why sell everything? And how? To whom? I have 20 violins. Renaissance paintings. House. Cars. Cellos. Grand piano. I can't possibly sell that. Maybe one at a time. And much is a cultural heritage, I am like a housekeeper rather than owner. Can't sell, must watch. Others are all busy I don't know what with, I am not well informed.
