For me it was just an art house kind of movie. Didnt interpret anything extra pravacative in it, I just enjoyed the pace and the uniqueness of paterson. If anything, maybe I could interpret something like, Laura was kinda the fire and Paterson the match. The dog (its a she) was awesome. Watched it like 15 times by now.
