Very cool! I always wondered if building something like this was possible and here it is! What flight time do you get with that setup? I know the Walksnail VTX alone can finish a 1s battery pretty fast just sitting still

Both are fun but if I had to choose probably the 2S. The 1S is pretty fun for tight spots, and I have many more 1S Lipos to take along, which is convenient 👍🏽

Yeah, that's it, I need to get me one of these kits 😃 Having Kolibri smash the floor when the voltage dropped kinda was the last straw! EPP is the way 😎👌 Love that you could have chase footage of it, the best use of drones IMO!

I've glued 1.5mm carbon rods inside, which make them stiff enough. not quite balsa but definitely flyable 👍

@@AverageFPV For me is a Spec ritewing or Vollstyle or Team Legit wing for freestyle proxy and Nanodrak for freestyle midrange , These are the wings that I prefer.

This is super cool. So glad you built it with twins. I am just finishing up a nano goblin twin prop with o3. I love how smooth they are with the counter rotating props.

Is there a reason why you use twin motor instead of one pusher? You just cut your motor time in half with this setup :D But yeah, tiny and micro wings are fun!

@@theKeppis mainly to combat torque rolling. It’s already hard enough to switch between quads and wings, but torque rolling kills me 😅

@@AverageFPV I really haven't experienced much torque rolling on my mini wings, barely noticeable only when you're stalling and punching it :) Of course it kinda gives you yaw authority (or a wild spin!) with differential thrust. I should actually give it a try. I made a quad friend one wing, only advice I gave him was to keep enough airspeed until he gets used to it 😆

First when I saw this I thought that's another take on the Mobula 7 Wing" but having a better look I was pleasantly surprised. I asked about the weight on facebook earlier, it was way lighter than I expected. Maybe it has to do the gull wing and those slanted (45°) winglets those make it a bit too stable and resist rolling. But this and the parking hall clips gave a bit more insight of it. This needs only little building to get it going.:)

The vector wing foam is rather fragile, especially in the front !! I added a "foam bumper" in that regards

Agree. I filled the lipo slot with foam and added some nylon reinforced tape and it survived all crashes today 👍🏽

Incredible and very inspiring ! What is AUW ? I have this wing (in 2S since 2019, but stabilized with a CC3D and even FPV it a bit kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4awhmmCepeGipI ) and a 1S (Two motors in line from the first vector wing concept ) since 2018 !! I have a spare and a 3D printer ... so, very tempted to make that two one day. Just find or print a canopy when you can, like that, it's rather ugly. You'd also rather stabilize it or you won't be able to fly it with a bit of wing. It's very light. Btw, this wing does not like stall at all (so always put some speed and no too sharp turns).
