Yeah, who decided that was a good idea? I could understand, 15 minutes of play, 15 minutes down time, rinse and repeat. But I can attend one attempt per event per day, because of the way it interacts with sleep/work schedules. If I happen to be busy during that 15 minutes, well screw me for the whole day. Not a good experience in any way.

I just started to notice the voice changes and for some reason I don't like them in some characters. Thoran got killed in my ears and I still have mixed feelings about Brutus, I don't like the new Hewwyn either. But at least something was for the better, like Korin. Im hella sad cuz Thoran was one of the characters I liked the VA more on the entire game, I feel all that Royalty feeling of him just gone.

Yes I agree except about Korin - i loved Korin, I thought it was seriously the most accurate character VA in the game before they changed it. He was the absolute perfect “old man who is hanging it up after years as a mercenary, but will always have the backs of the friends and neighbors he lives near now”. Come on- you’ll need my spear! But YES THEY HAVE KILLED THORAN 😭 now he’s just an angry samurai - all the ghostly royalty is just out the window.

@@DangerGrey If they needed to have him sound like an angry chainsmoker, they should have gotten someone who sounds similar to Michael McConnohie as the Lich King in WoW. Mike has been my favorite voice actor for years; he has one of the most imposing, spellbinding voices I've ever heard and I love it.

Hello Mister, Do you know where I can find a good guide or video on battle drills ? I discovered that it is better to use 3 heroes for little fights. So maybe there is other things to improve my battle.

Haha well sir, I hope your socks have been washed recently…. maybe you missed the part that I’ve been playing daily on this account since April of 2023 ✌️🎩 It’s F2P from beta, maintained all the way through to current times. It would definitely look suspect to folks who don’t realize this detail 🤭❤️

Oh man, did they? Not another one 😔 they changed Berial’s line reading but not the actor and not even the words of dialogue, just the line read - and now it’s horrible comparatively. The old one was one of the most memorable lines in all the whole of the English lines catalogue. Now it’s throwaway at best. Tragic. But the wrong kind of clowning.

SAME QUESTION. I miss that voice... The new one is not bad either, you can see that the VA worked hard on the voice acting to show the personality, but really, the previous voice was sweeter 😭😭😭 I love Berial so much.. It hit me a little when I heard a new voice

I started playing AFK Arena after starting AFK Journey because I wanted to see more character lore, especially for the few characters that are both in journey and arena. One thing I wish they'd bring to Journey from Arena are also the absolutely gorgeous character portraits!!! They are breathtakingly beautiful and I just wish I could draw in that style! ;__;

I found your channel on reddit when I was looking for lore on Shakir today. I was horrified to find how they butchered the characters backstory for AI generated quips. Subbed and looking forward to more of what should have been.

Viperian is top 5 favorite characters for me and his lore was so cool. I used to play AFK arena and I thought it would be just another gacha that I would play for a while and then delete, but the art and the lore kept me playing and I fell in love with the characters and the amazing stories. Even after I stopped playing (mainly due to life happening) I still watched every cinematic they released in they're main channel. I kept hoping we would eventually get a animated series (something similar to Arcane) about the AFK universe. When I heard that they were making a new game with better graphics I was so excited because I wanted to experience more AFK lore, but while the main story has been great I was really let down by the character stories/Tales. I didn't know they had replaced them and now it makes sense, the original stories are exactly why I fell in love with this world and they took that away from us. I hope they change this because I know that without the amazing lore they created in AFK Arena I probably would have dropped the game sooner and would not be playing journey now, and I'm sure that there are many other people who are the same as me.

Yes that IS what she brings to the team, which is why she was on my wishlist for the first 7 days of any account - those powers are particularly useful/helpful for your teams up until around Res Lvl100 at which point other heroes will start to out-perform her en masse and she is no longer a strong hero to play in most situations. A great exception to this however, is/was Battle Drills (it’s currently under construction again) - the farm team nodes where we are clearing out 15-20 enemies ASAP to reach a stamina refund. These were a GREAT place to play Lyca, even for a f2p or lower invest account. Using her in your teams there with her haste and her fairly large scale AOE, is (or at least was) a great play!! 🎩👍

I need this back so bad! I started playing AFK Journey because of an ad ""Echoes of devastation - story trailer" and it felt lively and i just wanted to know more about the world. This is my biggest issue with the game: the lack of lore. i took a glance at afk arena and the lore is there, fully fleshed out stories of the characters and everything, why isnt it in afkjourney? I need them to fix it asap

Just wow...! Such an amazing story. I honestly think that A.I. should be banned from game development in general. Especially if there is paid packages are involved. I don't want to pay for a game where the devs don't put in the effort just writing couple of taglines and leave the computer to generate low quality content. Absolutely unacceptable.

I mean especially when you consider that the effort *had already been made* to write the content really really well as evidenced here, and was *replaced* by the low quality- makes it sooo much worse IMHO !!!

Hey Pepe! I think all stellar crystals are more valuable than basically anything else except for Temporal Essence-Arena heroes included!! (Maybe not more than the rare S tier heroes, but those aren’t for sale anywhere short of drag crystals!!)
