Yes I noticed the irony but it’s a reaction to his addiction. He doesn’t take full responsibility yet and associates his addiction with Purple. He has matured and gained insight in his later years

God… WTF? The fate of the universe gave you the most wonderful voice in the world of Rock. And you have taken advantage of that gift and continue to move us with your beautiful songs. Гленн Хьюз, обладая великолепным музыкальным слухом и образованием, ,,зажигает " по сей день, ,,отрываясь" по полной программе, как бы за то, что в Rock Band «Deep Purple» находился немного в тени великого Дэвида Ковердэйла, но мне он всегда импонировал, исполняя в рок-композициях и сольные партии и в дуэте с Ковердэйлом !!! Хочется пожелать ему дальнейших творческих успехов !!!
