Easy fix. You must have removed the rollers to clean old grease and lube again. Our problem was the same as yours. So we once again removed the rollers and put the Left on the Right, and the Right on the Left. Counter was working fine again.

Question am I able to set multiple BPM parameters to each trigger in order to sent out? Think of like the Tempi modular.

You would have to add a little more code, but pretty easy using the modulus operator!

Hi, thank you very much for this series.. Teletype will be my next module... Could you tell me the model of the keyboard you use?! Because i know that not all the keyboards work properly. Thank you
@ZsaZsaRoboto Жыл бұрын
I mostly use the one that comes with it, but newer teletype units are able to use just about any keyboard that isn’t a usb hub too and doesn’t have additional power draining things like led lights under the keys.

Hello again, I'm following your tutorials with interest. It occurred to me that it could be possible to use the tracker as a trigger!? I thought I could just enter values of 0 and 1(off/on) on the tracker and send them to the TR command somehow but for the life of me I can't seem to get any results. Is this possible? Thanks.
@ZsaZsaRoboto Жыл бұрын
You could definitely do something like that… how are you triggering the script that reads the tracker?
@rainerd9890 Жыл бұрын
Just got a teletype and I was wondering how to trigger the outputs without using the trigger inputs. This answers my question but it was a little confusing to see a cable running to trigger input 1!? It's not doing anything, right? Thanks for your all your videos, short, clear and succinct. Exactly what a newbie needs.

Had somehow overlooked this video, despite having watched all of your TT tutorial videos. Looks like a really fun little sequencer!! Need to look into it and see if it’s possible to re-code it for i2c use with Just Friends. Bit new to the TT game though, so it may take a while. Have you plans for any more videos? Would love to see some more!

@@ZsaZsaRoboto Your about page says USA. That threw me off :-) We're making audio dramas. I've been learning VCV to eventually use it for royalty free background music. The vibe of modular music fits well with our theme--80% human, 20% machine made. Teletype fascinates me. It reminds me of the little toys like programmable calculators and early computers my mother used to borrow overnight from work in the 70's for me to play with.

Such nice sounds and rhythm. I like the details, like one sound that seems to get stretched over time. It goes really well with the video, too. And the leaf got its own little documentary there. And the words are interesting the way you used them. Actually, I think it was the whole room spinning.
