My main goal was to come up with a very simple to do project that anyone could do. Of course there is always lots of custom work anyone could do to improve it, but the more complex the thing is the harder it will be for people to build one for themselves. This fire extinguisher fuel cell idea is about as simple as I can get it where the only custom parts that are needed is the cap, down steam, and rubber insulators keeping the tank and down steam isolated from each other. After that its pretty much plug the tank in to whatever D.C electric source you have available and begin extracting..

The fundamental phenomenon of dilation explains dark matter/galaxy rotation curves. Mass that is dilated is smeared through spacetime relative to an outside observer. It's the phenomenon our high school teachers were talking about when they said "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". A graph illustrates its squared nature, dilation increases at an exponential rate the closer you get to the speed of light. A time dilation graph illustrates the same phenomenon, it's not just time that gets dilated. Dilation occurs wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass because high mass means high momentum. This includes the centers of very high mass stars and the overwhelming majority of galaxy centers. The mass at the center of our own galaxy is dilated. This means that there is no valid XYZ coordinate we can attribute to it, you can't point your finger at something that is smeared through spacetime. In other words that mass is all around us. Dilation does not occur in galaxies with low mass centers because they do not have enough mass to achieve relativistic velocities. It has been confirmed in 6 very low mass galaxies including NGC 1052-DF2 and DF4 to have no dark matter. In other words they have normal rotation rates. All planets and all binary stars have normal rotation rates for the same reason.

@@TheZafootz The best way to understand dilation is to imagine a spaceship traveling at a constant acceleration rate. When the ship reaches 50% light speed, as viewed from an Earthbound observer with a magically powerful telescope, it would appear normal because as the graph shows nothing has changed at that point. When the ship reaches 75% light speed it would appear fuzzy because as the graph shows relativistic effects would be noticeable at that point. When the ship reaches 99% light speed it would not be visible because every aspect of its existence would be smeared through spacetime relative to an Earthbound observer, not onto itself. This is the state of mass in our galactic center, it's not just there, it's everywhere. It's the "missing mass" needed to explain galaxy rotation curves.

@@shawns0762 Now what if The observer from Earth began to move along in the same direction as the traveler. Then at that point it would appear to both parties that they are both at rest or not moving relative to each other but they are still moving at 75% the speed of light compare to the earth bounds original position and velocity was before they began to move along with the traveler. Now if the 2 parties move together in sync and it appears that they are both at rest how is it that the Universe knows how fast you are going if there's nothing to compare your motion to when accelerating? This is for single direction acceleration not circular acceleration. circular acceleration is limited because the particles run into the back's of themselves and cannot accelerate any faster. this isn't an issue if accelerating in a straight line. So putting aside the infinite energy or infinite time excuse what physical part of the Universe would prevent something from accelerating to whatever speed they want if able to constantly accelerate? For me it seems more like an illusion of time dilation and visual effects of lights characteristics.

@@TheZafootz We are all traveling at the speed of light relative to some potential vantage point. There are some KZbin videos explaining this. If a spaceship travels at a constant 1g acceleration rate it would achieve about 95% light speed in 1 year. As the ship approaches the speed of light it becomes irrelevant to an Earthbound observer. I believe the ship could keep on accelerating indefinitely.

@@shawns0762 I know that thrust is limited by the departing speed of the propellent so even if your thruster was shooting material at the speed of light a ship still wouldn't be able to accelerate to light speed due to inertia and light limited departing speed. So thrust will not be able to reach light speed. But there could be another way to achieve acceleration other than thrust and that would be key to figuring out a way to travel to light speed and beyond...

A couple of things! The idea behind fusion power is to use the fusion (merger) of atomic nucleus to generate usable energy. For this to happen the output energy needs to be greater than the input energy. So far - fusion have been achieved - but not in a way where the output energy exceeds the input energy. The energy levels required to reach fusion are extreme - 100's of millions of degrees. (C/F/K - does not really matter). Essentially the atoms needs enough energy that they can collide with enough force to fuse into a new heavier element - instead of just being deflected away from each other (which is why you do not fall through the floor when you walk on it). One error in your video - pushing electrons into the atom is pointless. An atom with more (or less) electrons does not make a heavier (or lighter) element. That would just be ionization of the nucleus. You can technically push an electron into a proton - but then you get a neutron (this is why there are neutron stars and no "proton" stars - all protons gets electrons "pushed into them" and turn into neutrons). And a nucleus where a proton is converted to a neutron would give us a lighter element (it is the number of protons that determine what the element is). So - you need the nuclei to collide. I.e. if you smash hydrogen into hydrogen - you would end up with helium (this is the main fusion process in the sun) - and a lot of released energy. As I understand it there are several practical problems (this is my amateur level understanding of it): #1 Any matter at a hundred million degrees - if it were to touch anything would instantly vaporize that "thing". Also the matter that you need to reach super high temps - would lose temp quickly if it were to touch anything. Thus you need vacuum and some sort of levitating confinement. #2 Then, as you heat matter up, it wants to expand. A lot. Anything would turn into a gas - then into a plasma (atoms with more of fewer electrons than normal). Ever expanding and pushing outwards with enormous force. This also makes problem #1 more difficult. The confinement needs to be strong (probably why magnetic superconductors etc are used for this). #3 To heat the matter efficiently. You cannot touch the stuff. Any sort of flame is just not hot enough. Electrons do not carry enough energy AFAIK. Laser pumping works (this is already been done experimentally) - but current lasers (the size of huge buildings!) can only provide the energy needed for a split second. Magnetically induced heating also works - this is how the various tokamak designs works (or is intended to work) as I understand it. Also one must make sure the heat is confined. If heat is lost too quickly - the needed temp will not be reached (or held). This is one of the main problems currently as far as I know. You achieve fusion - then the process stops after a very short time as temp drops. #4 Extracting the heat to be used. To make any use of the fusion reactor one also needs to get the heat out - i.e. to run a steam turbine or similar. But this needs to be finely regulated. Too much heat lost and the process shuts down. Also - your idea of shooting electrons - would have another problem. Electrons follow magnetic lines (this is how old CRT screens work). Thus shooting an electron beam through those magnetic rings holding the plasma in place....I think just would not work (the beam would be scattered or way off target).

I really appreciate you spending the time to respond to my videos, your logic behind everything you say makes very good sense to me. It also helps me by you identifying the problems in the theories that I have and propose. You are correct about using electrons to cause a fusion reaction and that it must be protons that needs to be used to fuse into helium like out sun does to make a successful fusion. The design I proposed could it be done using protons instead of electrons being shot at the center of the apparatus again using super conducting electric magnets to hold the protons in place then feeding more protons into its core and with enough electromagnetic pressure force them into fusion? To me it makes sense to have a machine that not only holds the particles in 1 spot but at the same time provide the pressure to cause these particles to fuse by inducing pressure to the particles in the same spot. I understand that this is a very ruff idea and there are many holes when it comes to describing a machine of all technical angles to demonstrate a fully functional machine. But from what I know about fusion is that it happens in the cores of all stars and at the cores of all stars there is extreme pressure along with intense heat all pushing down on a single point in its center and thats why this idea to push particles into 1 spot and keeping them there with electromagnetic pressure possibly pushing the particles together to create fusion makes most sense to me. This was the basis of this idea to use these Helmholtz coils in this way. As for constructing the part of the machine to extract energy from the fusion reaction I have not yet worked out but your peer review is more then welcome for comment and thank you for taking the time to type out and explain in full detail the parts of this idea that I did not consider or that are flawed for me to then think over and rereview my thoughts and work on the topic again. Thank you @jarls5890 for your detailed response to my video.

@@TheZafootz I like playing around with ideas a bit. And I always had great interest in the "natural sciences". Still, I am just an amateur - but I think I got a fair grasp of the complexity of some of these problems (and realize that they are far to complex for me to have a chance at solving). I got friends who have Phd in plasma physics and nuclear physics. And to hear those guys talk in detail about some of their work - it is incredibly complicated and impossible for me to follow. All I know is...I know very little! However I have studied astronomy and related topics at uni. And I still remember parts of the lectures about solar fusion and nucleosynthesis. A star (including our sun) - is essentially governed by two forces in opposition: Gravity trying to cram the giant ball of gas into the smallest possible object - and nuclear fusion pushing back. So a star is in a constant tension between gravity pulling in - and fusion pushing out trying to explode the whole thing. Proton beams do exist. They are used in advanced cancer treatment at hospitals (still not very common). And the Large Hadron Collider (at CERN) and other particle accelerators are in essence proton beam machines. And you know the size of those things! And still - they only produce bursts of beams. Nothing continuous (although such machines do fuse new elements - this is how the ultra rare, short lived elements are discovered). But I guess the main problem is even these giant machines only produce point like beams. This would not be enough to "get fusion going" to the point you could use it as a practical power plant. However getting protons into the system is not a challenge in itself i guess. Protons exists in all matter - in fact it IS matter. Thus - I would think that a high energy laser...x-ray laser or gamma ray laser would be better suited to "pump" energy into the system. Containment and energy extraction is still a big challenge. Just as a trivia; Are you aware that the so called H-bomb, the thermonuclear hydrogen bomb is a fusion bomb? That is the kind of energies we are talking about. The amount of matter that is actually fused is only a few grams (on the order of pea size). And to get the fusion going in such a device - they use a "regular" A-bomb that acts as the primer. It is the x-ray radiation pressure from the A-bomb that compress the fissile material (through a complex arrangement of lenses and reflectors) until fusion is achieved. This is part of what one tries to recreate and tame in a fusion reactor.

You are misunderstanding the part about holding a flame to the wire. It is not the light from the flame that causes the effect - but the ionized gas around the flame due to the heat from the flame (this is why they need to attach a wire in the first place).

Ah ok thank you for that correction. The main point of the old army video I'm pointing out was how they describe the photoelectric effect caused by x-rays. @jarls5890
@jarls5890 3 ай бұрын
@@TheZafootz I think the army video is quite simplified - and Einsteins theories goes beyond what is shown in the video. This is a summary of what Einstein proved: "In 1905, Albert Einstein published a paper advancing the hypothesis that light energy is carried in discrete quantized packets to explain experimental data from the photoelectric effect. Einstein theorized that the energy in each quantum of light was equal to the frequency of light multiplied by a constant, later called the Planck constant. " and "Einstein's work predicted that the energy of individual ejected electrons increases linearly with the frequency of the light. The precise relationship had not at that time been tested. By 1905 it was known that the energy of photoelectrons increases with increasing frequency of incident light and is independent of the intensity of the light. However, the manner of the increase was not experimentally determined until 1914 when Millikan showed that Einstein's prediction was correct." Up until this point it was thought that energy was on an "infinite sliding scale" and that energy was "infinitely divisible". Einstein essentially proved that light (and thus energy) is quantized...or in certain steps..where no energy level can exist between those steps. I.e. where we get "Quantum" in "Quantum physics" from. Also check out "Ultraviolet catastrophe" - which was solved by this.

@@TheZafootz I am no sure. Weird things seems to happen at either extreme. The upper limit is very, very high - far higher than any gamma ray burst detected to date. On the low end - low frequency light is what we call radio waves. Very, very long waves. I am not sure what happens when the wave has so little energy - if it then starts to blend in into the background noise of the universe - perhaps disappearing into the constant background noise of the quantum foam or some such. Also keep in mind that the frame of reference would play a role here - i.e. the Doppler effect. The position and speed of the observer would then need to be taken into account as well as it would shift the frequency up and down all depending.
@TheZafootz

@@jarls5890 Yes I agree, light at low end of the spectrum would eventually blend in with the background radiation and dissipate with enough time and distance traveled. As for the expansion of the cosmos I feel that there isn't enough data showing the connection of galaxies size/distance and the speed in witch they are moving away from us. There is data showing galaxies distance and speed that they are moving away from us but no where in the data do they collect the size of the galaxies along its distance and speed. I have a hunch that if we were to measure 2 different sized galaxies(1 big and 1 small) that are at the same distance away from us, the bigger of the 2 galaxies will be moving away faster then the smaller one. The connection has been made that the farther away a galaxy is the faster they tend to be moving away from us but I feel this data is incomplete. If data was collected as for the size of the galaxies along with their distance and speeds they are moving this would show some sort of connection between galaxy size and speed in witch they are moving away from us. What if there was a server that had an Anti-Cheat that can do a full hard drive search for any cheat files that it has on its BadFiles, SuspiciousFiles, and HighlySuspiciousFiles list that it has? Most people I tell this to say to me "I dont want someone scanning my entire Hard Drive" and I explain to them that this Anti-Cheat does not read files , it looks for file names that are on its search list and logs what it finds showing the path to that file in a log file for the server admin to look over and decided if that player is allowed to play on the server or not. Every cheat for unreal is coded with a title for the cheat file it uses to run it. These names is what this Anti-Cheat would search for and if someone built and produced a new cheat with a new name all that would need to be done is the cheat file name would need to be added to the Anti-Cheats search file list and this would all that would need to be done to keep it up to date. But in this case of the 1 server that has players and 1/2 are using cheats, It is the Admins of that server that is allowing this because they care more about having as many active people on their server not caring if they cheat or not all they care about is taking all the active traffic left in the game and nothing more. Even after i showed them evidence of someone using an snap on aim bot in that server they still did nothing. So this full HD scanner Anti-Cheat is the best solution to have a server with all legit players and no cheaters but the few legit players left in the game seem to want to continue to play with these cheaters as well as that servers admins dont see to give a fuck. But when it comes to something like an ini setting that makes dodging easier to do is 100% not allowed but wall hacking, sonar hacking, frame rate hacking, bright skins hacking, all kinds of extra non default BS they allow but the settings I discovered not allowed. I'd rather play on a server that scans everyones HD's for cheats and proves to all the players there that everyone is legit vs Dictating what can and cannot be done by their personal preference..... to me its nothing but a stingy selfish joke in what is a for sure A DEAD GAME......
