I was there today on my own for a scout but couldn’t find many of the trails I found the first trail in your vid it’s the second trail I wanted to find Is it on the same side or the other side of the mountain? Be nice to see you ride Deri it’s my local 👍

@@WORKEVERYWEEKEND ah no way? A lot of them are on the same one as the first trail but the second trail is a different hill, it’s on wookies side I was supposed to go 2 weekends ago but my daughter was ill, I’ll get there soon though it looks wicked

@ Thank you for the reply it was a frustrating day lol You’ll love Deri it’s an amazing place The reason I was solo today is because my son broke his collarbone on the on off trail in Deri last week, he made the on but didn’t make the off 😂

Nice content there mate , some cracking trails there . Last time I went on a bike I got wrapped up like a turkey on the floor at dirt farm 18 months ago.. I believe you were there that day too , so you can blame me for the trail being closed 😅

@@thewelshwonder1965 I fully understand it’s my own fault and I’m way too deep now but it is actually Zeus 😂 my name Gareth that’s where the “Ge” comes from. Most people know me as Zeus though. So Ge Zeus and then I thought the Christ was funny. I’ve met so many people on the trails now that think it’s actually Jesus 😂😂

Cracking video mate. I'm visiting Cwmcarn/Risca with mates soon. Looking for another spot to do a short ride at - have kinda looked at Wyllie and obviously you've got these Abercarn trails too. Would you recommend either one of those above anything else in the area? We're just looking for a somewhere to go for a couple of hours around our bigger rides, nothing too gnarly, just a fun place to ride. Any advice would be appreciated Cheers.

@@mossy.trails5289 Wylie is having a lot of forest works done so I don’t think the trails are running unfortunately but I would definitely hit up the Abercarn trails, they are one of the best spots in the valley at the minute

Hey mate, I'm from Merthyr, just bought my first eMTB after years of wanting to. Quick question - how the hell do I find out about all these sorts of trails? Where they start, how to get to them etc. I know of BPW, Dirt Farm, Dyfi and all the atucal bike parks, but it's the open to all trails I'm intrigued about. Hope this makes sense LOL

@@Llewy15 welcome to the club ha ha it’s a lot of word and mouth mate in all honesty, follow some of the Facebook / instagram pages and try and maybe get out with a few of the local boys to that area, Risca riders do lots of group rides that you could join on to
