I love listening to Shawn talk about this movie, it shows the reverence and respect they all had for every piece of source material, character, history, and actor.

I love Ghostbusters, but I wouldn't say that it has a theme.

People who lack writing talent typically revert to Horror.

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW is my favorite found footage film. I love found footage in general and have written a couple of my own (1 horror, 1 sci-fi). I know some people say "found footage is dying", but is it though? Now you've got "Screen Life" movies like SEARCHING, MISSING, and the UNFRIENDED franchise which is basically found footage with an even more contained twist. I've got an idea for one of these Screen Life movies, but we'll see how it goes.

I never understood the success of Avatar. It is simply Fern Gully in space and JC ripped off decades old art by Roger Dean with the floating islands - something every Yes fan recognized instantly with a WTF? Thematically it is almost exactly the same as the animated film Fern Gully. I can appreciate the technical wizardry of the films but after the first film, just not interested any more when I can sit in front of a computer game and get an interactive experience with the same CG visuals.
