had a chat with my grandad in st helens and got some info on where we originated. my great great grandad travelled from callystown to liverpool, and then walked barefoot from liverpool to st helens to work in the coal mines. it really is inspirational how hard these peopled worked to get away from the famine and the hardship, but god bless them for doing so.
