@darobk it doesn't matter when the technology was made, you wouldn't say the world is still flat just because idiots usto say it, its not relevant in this day and age, so saying "no replacement for displacement" is fucking stupid, and saying an r1 will be faster just because its bigger engine is stupid when smaller engines could easily have more power (with todays technology, not 30 year old technology's your talking about)

@bladehannspree Actuall you are correct and wrong with that statement. I bet I could make a track where a 250 MOTO GP could beat an R1. Sure why not if it was tight enough and windy with no long straight ways. Look a Super bike track and a moto gp track are not always the same. Certain tracks favour certain bike styles. So yes in a super bike open track race r1 every time will beat an r6. But there may be tracks out there that I bet an R6 could and may very well beat an R1. TRUTH

@raf46 Actually better. My wheel base is shorter so I turn tighter. Also R1 has to much power in power band. So on a really tight corner you have to feather the throttle . If you dont the front end wobbles from over power on a 1000. I can ride my R6 8000 rpm to 17000 rpm with nol shake a full throttle. Very few guys on 1000 can keep up with me FROM Kaslo to New Denver. R1 only better if you can get to sixthe gear and lots of long straight aways.

600cc bike have an advantage in the turns cause the wheel base that's why and the throttle response it takes more skill to whip a 1000cc around a track

@asoliman90 if a 600 is as quick as a 1000cc why dont the pro road racers use the 600 in the 1000 classes. Save a lot of money not needing 2 bikes. 600cc will not keep with a 1000cc with equal riders.

well, nice race, but this track suck for this kind of bikes, looks like it is more for supermoto or something like that, very short twists.

@asoliman90 on the right track or peice of road a good 600 pilot is just as quick as a 1000
