@@pikminologueraisin2139 Yes we absolutely are. We compared to the east, or rather the particular teams G2 has to face going forward are essentially that of a wildcard facing G2. I dont mean skill wise, i mean expectations-wise - Even if a wild card started blazing through, say someone like PSG, we'd still consider them underdogs right? It's the same scenario, keeping in mind G2 has had success - it's easy to get carried away and get comfortable. But due to the performance in the last 3 years, its literally just as easy to see them go from one day of 3-0 to the next 0-3. I want nothing more than to see another G2 win, even finals is brilliant in my book. But the people saying "G2 is winning ez" have not even played in gold elo, let alone 100 hours spent in league. G2 infamously plays better when they are considered challengers, when expectations are not on them to win. But if expectations are on them, they flunk hard (remember NRG anyone? T1 the year before, when they were playing exactly like they are now, inconsistent?) it's no news that they might choke their momentum. I'll stay realistic until they get the win itself at least, and it seems some others feel the same. if anything, every win feels way better this way!

I love Dylan interviews and podcasts. He should win MVP for this team. He's truely the 6th player on the roster. Coach gap with the rest of LEC is huge. Of course not a one man job. But his drafting is insane.
