@@Chrissyandjoe1 Hal was here to record for the concerts. But after we are done performing for the camera, we knit the individual performances together in a timeline to omit extra time in between the pieces (before we air them). Otherwise there would be a lot of down time during the broadcasts as we reset the stage for each piece.

In Remembrance... This somber Monday night, we extend a musical offering in brief, as together our world grieves the untenable tragedy of September 11, 2001, and the whole of inhumane events that permeate our society with such prevalence. The short art song presented this evening, (text by Louise Moss Montgomery), describes the terrible anguish and indefatigable line between the living and the dead. Through this moment in time of music and poetry, we pay heartfelt tribute to those lost, and those left behind. We recognize the scars of pain and sorrow for all affected and who are forever changed. Never forget… Never forgotten…

It is the time of year when we send our loved ones off to college, out into the world to fly solo. Often bittersweet for those of us who remain at home, we are nonetheless filled with excitement and anticipation, yet...still reeling with nostalgia for the years gone by... Hope you enjoy this end-of-summer piece, dedicated to new life chapters, while toasting and celebrating the past with a warm smile.
