Well I just got El Matador in a minute and 18 seconds, after he was hooked he basically just tried to run, stopped him, and then I pumped until he came super close, he tried to fight, but it didn't work.

Thanks for a great video. 👌 It did help refine what I had already spots & technique-wise. I did 5 locations/spots and got = ( 4 hrs inGame at night only ) 5 Uni Nile Perch + 2 Trophies + 2 commons. No young, which is good. I might have gotten even more, I'm just remembering because I released a couple also. Now, the 2 spots ( one near the waterfalls & boueys + the one at the ferry cable ) I don't like. Why? Simply because we are unable to go past that invisible wall & pass the ferry cable. The Perches though, they can. I had bad experiences when first arriving at this map. 😄 I'm leveling up fast. 81½ right now. I can smell the Sushi!!!! ( Japan map )

Good job on catching him. Well that makes sense why we never caught the Koi, personally I wish they changed Amemasu, but who knows, maybe next time he will be out and be 70-80lbs. I think some people were more upset about Amemasu then the Crab, so hopefully they changed him aswell. but man that was a long search for nothing. And if they increase Amemasu's size by the same amount they did Goto, which is 254%, then Amemasu should be 142 lbs, but I doubt he will be that big, but if he is over 100 that would be amazing.

Honestly Amemasu if they do increase their he size I would say 80 to a 100lbs hit the check the legendary size to see if the profile is updated and also thank you.

@@dsuniverse9576 Yep, 80-100lbs would be great, and I just got Goto on a 33lb line, he fought for 1 minute and 56 seconds, and I got 13010 score, I had to switch servers twice, but on the 3rd I got him pretty quickly.

Have you read the description and traits of the leg Koi, they mention he fought his way to the top of a massive waterfall, and the biggest waterfall I've found is Kurohige Waterfall (top right of map) now is that the right waterfall ? does he live at the very top of the waterfall ? or does he live in the lake connected to the waterfall ?, is it even the koi leg this week ? have the devs forgotten to add a leg this week ? is it the crab even ? Good job on catching him, he definitely can be tough at times. I want to catch him again, but I am getting sleepy, and his insta bite won't help with that, so instead I am continuing to fish for the "beyond amusing" Mermaid. But I am excited to go after him tomorrow for sure.

But I exited out because it was morning and I wanted to see if I could get a better bite time, but she is in the same area when I came back in.

@@dsuniverse9576 Yep, the Mermaid has a wide range, but a predictable range. This is the same range she has been the other times she was in this area, and she will bite for sure eventually, but when is the real question. I will try El Matador now, but if that fails I will sleep, and I will see if the Koi is out when I wake up, hopefully.

@@dsuniverse9576 Yep, that is what I don't like about this spot is how hard she is to see, and also her massive range makes this not the spot I would choose for an easy catch, but I want to challenge myself with the Mermaid to catch her quick, so we will see how that goes.
