i have a question about the armor the Arbiters get given, is it the same suit of armor handed down form one Arbiter to the next? or is the armor a set of armor that was once comon but it now just seen as a relic? Because if its the same suit of armor handed down from one Arbiter to the next then how did it servive geting blown up by a super nova in halo wars 1?

It was a plan that the added cutscenes in the remastered version indicate had worked dozens of times before without issue; they did this every time they needed to dispose of anyone that could rival or even pose a threat to their authority -- which is why it was previously an irredeemable, unrecoverable death sentence 100% of the time for all the other Arbiters that came before, no matter what they did. Theoretically, he was supposed to get himself killed like a good little idiot so they could go back to manipulating everyone else; it was only by dumb luck that this Arbiter encountered the monitor when captured by the GraveMind, learned what Halo's true purpose was, and again luck that the Arbiter (eventually) made the personal decision to accept the fact that the heretic he was sent to kill was actually right all along, and that the prophets were all delusional. Had he been as easily manipulated and blindly subservient to the Prophets as Tartarus was, he would have probably succeeded in activating the rings and wiping out all life in the galaxy.

When I was young, I thought Arbiter was supposed to be some enduring Christ figure of Halo thanks to how hyped Passion of Christ was at the church I used to go to involving Jesus's torment, not entirely sure why this was the case, making it's because of the Covenents religious views or the name of the series likely having some symbology to being holy, and this scene made me sick to look at for the quite a while when first viewing it before the hype of Halo 3, as a matter of fact I still find his torture unnerving.

Not exactly. The title of Arbiter isn't an official military rank within the Covenant. Their higher standing only comes from them being servants of the high prophets. Other than that, the Arbiters are a disgrace.

However, he believed that his people discarded their adherence to honor in exchange for power, and firmly believed that the Great Journey was a lie propagated by the manipulative San'Shyuum. For this act of heresy, the Prophets ordered his execution via duel. To forever tar Chavamee's legacy, the Prophets gave the title of Arbiter to disgraced Sangheili as a means of regaining their family honor by performing suicidal missions. Thus, each subsequent Arbiter after Fal 'Chavamee has been "created and consumed in times of extraordinary crisis" in the words of the Prophet of Truth; it is not for nothing that the current Arbiter once considered the role as penance for failures. I don't care what people say but Halo 2 has the best story in the series. You get to see the War from the Covenant point of view and the Arbiter felt betrayed when he learned about the Truth of Halo and its purpose. It's like the first game but seeing War from another perspective.

If we're talking cutscenes and presentation, then sure. As for the graphics in gameplay...let's just say it's not as good as those cinematics. But to be fair, that is to be expected from most games.
