Is it too much to ask for someone to finally release some game with a good AI...where bots take cover...move from cover to cover...act realistically...The graphics keep improving but the AI keeps getting worse. I'm almost wishing for Rockstar to release a tactical shooter. I'm not even joking here

I bought this the other day on sale for $9 thinking ok it will be buggy but maybe it won’t be too bad. Driving is floaty, no traffic on the road at all, no peds walking around, went to my first call only to have nothing there. Not a great first impression so I refunded. Great idea but bugs need fixing. Hopefully it’s not dead ware.

Dang, that’s no bueno. I’m surprised the game hasn’t advanced much from it’s state of bugginess, I haven’t played it in a hot minute, I enjoy it from time to time but I kind of got tired waiting for fixes. But I agree with you on the ideas.

There's Russian Bias when I'm playing against the USSR. But when I'm the one in Soviet tanks, the Russian Bias turns off and everyone with there Moms shoots me in the driver port or LFP.

what exactly is russian bias here? that they shot you in the wrong place? I have bounced off a chaffee withthe soviet 100mm gun on the T-54, so is it USA bias then?

As russian main with US and German tech trees in the progress I can tell you there is russian bias but only every time you play against russia and when u play russia u have to earn it

Не понимаю откуда вообще вы взяли эту предвзятость. Не знаю как на топах, но с РБ 3.0 и до 5.0 (пока дальше не дошла) все советские танки помирают от любого чиха и пука в их сторону. До 3.0 да, они мощь, но после это боль. Да и что насчет "Russian Bias" это скорее больше применимо к американской технике. Если же советская техника уничтожит какую нибудь махину, то ок, но если уничтожит американскую, то меня это наоборот удивляет. До сих помню тот случай, когда я на КВ-1 и еще 3 моих тиммейта не смогли пробить всего одного Шермана, после чего он всех нас разнес. Предвзятость есть как раз таки к американской технике, но не к советской. Советская техника - помойка, играя за которую ты получишь только горящее очко. Даже играя за США и Германию я спокойно могу набить немало фрагов, но сделать это с советской техники очень сложно. Ну может быть раньше и была какая то предвзятость к ней, не знаю, но сейчас это не так. Не бросаю ветку развития СССР только потому что уже половина техники прокачана, не хочется бросать на пол пути. Авиация да - мое почтение, ВОЗМОЖНО именно тут и есть та самая предвзятость. Такое наслаждение летать на ней. Но не в танках. В танках все ровно наоборот.

The Russian bias I've noticed and others have commeted on is the major inconsistencies of all ammo types when comparing APHE (Russia's primary ammunition type for much of the game) vs almost every other ammo types in the game. With HEAT(/FS), APCR, capped/uncapped Solidshots, and Sabot being depicted far more inconcistently than APHE. For tanks debatably the KV-1 and the T34 pre-85 BRs are a bit busted but that 105mm sherman fits the same bill imo.

why are you using the ATGMs? imo 3bm42 (or, even 3bm22 if you don't have 3bm42 in that thing) is much more effective (even though it has lower pen)

Well, as someone who's been playing the game since open beta, i can very much tell you that russian bias IS a thing, it's not a meme. I've seen evidence of it's presence in-game and on the forums too many times

i can also confirm, whenevr i storm a russian tank which has clearly much more firepower, armour and awareness then me, i always die, and i always blame gajin for my massive skill shortage and i blame russian bias, then i pay gajin so that they nerf russian tanks more then they already are, and repeat the cycle

@@bitofapickle they dont? depends on what tanks, because some tanks actually have armour to cover the fuel, meanwhile its the exact oppoaite of what you said, the moment when a shell penetrates even the smallest part of the fuel tank, it literally explodes, this doesent happen with other tanks, and how do you explain the abrams, british, french and italian loading time? for example, the real reaload of the avarage t90a autoloader is 5 seconds, gajin increased that and ruined the armour of the ERA of the t90a compared to its irl counterparts, meanwhile the abrams, which jas 14 second or more of reaload time irl(on avarage) but in warthunder, it literally has 5 seconds of reload, considerably shorter then the soviet tanks, and what about the damage intake, which of all the other countries is counter from the tip of the shell, meanwhile on russian tanks, the shell that it shoots is counted from the back of the shell, there is no proof for russian "bias" i'd say more for russian "hatred"

I absolutely love this game, coming from arma 3 this game has so many comparable upgrades that the potential is insane. cant wait to see what they do in the future and with arma 4.

I love all the different elements of it, the comms, the sounds, the vehicles, weaponry, and now they’ve quite significantly improved the lighting as well. It really is quite a game, I just hope that they fix the server issues. Either way I’m gonna keep playing it regularly

it’s not easy to make games like this lol. this is a test bed for Arma 4. you can’t milsim on squad like you can on arma. squad isn’t a sandbox.

I was enjoying it just before they had the last major update because the servers were smooth and didn’t crash anymore but as soon as they release any new updates then the servers just run into so many problems. I’m sure the end result will be brilliant but I don’t think many people will like to ride the waves through the storm

if the servers ran well it would be good, but the servers drop to 15 fps to 5 fps when people build lots of structures, its so annoying because it would be great if they solved that issue
