These look similar to my Tuxmats. The only difference I can see is a slightly different texture. The Tuxmat fit better right out of the box, but that could be a difference in packaging. These might need more time to reshape. Nice mats.

@ the backpack conversion kit was out of stock at the moment, but I plan to get it in the near future. I will surely focus on this sling mode at first as I will use it as a substitute for a 9 L tactical backpack (Tasmanian tiger) that I just sold.

For overhead cam I have a Canon M6 Mark 2 with a Sigma 16mm prime and for my talking head shot I use a Canon R10 with a 16mm canon prime lens

Do you occasionally remove the rim protectors to clean the rims, or is that not really necessary? If using 3M double-sided tape, it might be difficult to remove them later anyway. Best regards, Claudio

I don't remove them... I wash them and usually blow them out with a blower to get the water out and towel dry

ShiftCam makes interesting products, but does not operate like a reputable company. I ordered a lens and mount in Nov. 24, 2024 and as of January 10, 2025 have not received shipment. Customer support is one person who apparently has health problems. While they should have marked out-of-stock items as such on the web site, instead they took my money. They're tracking app is horrible. Shop elsewhere, Shiftcam is not reliable.
