@@outcastprojects6733 Its a 3/4 ton and already has a 456 geared no spin and full floating axles. A 9 inch wouldnt be a improvement. We do have a 9 inch under our 55 chevy wagon

Cannot raceit at the No Name. doesntconform to the AHRA rules. Believe it or not. thats a stock 283 andstock 3 speed. It does have a larger carb anf hedders. The rear end is a 9 inch with 456 gears

Many moons ago this is how this truck takes me back in time. A pair of 16 inch by supply tires really smoke them up. But you know all these old tricks. You could tell us some we don’t know I’m sure. Is this the truck that has the service bed on it? I thought you had one with the 454 in it. I could be wrong asking.

So, my 68 d300 dually has an indexing pin on the rear drums. The holes in the rims are staggered between being recessed and protruding.. but the protruding ones seem to have a recess as well.. is that from people jamming the wrong nut on there or do they all use the same nut and the protrusions are only there to mate with the adjoining wheel? Thank you

There is a small amount of factory chamfer on the protuding ones. best to have alternating concave & convex nuts however all concave will work.
