Your locs are so beautiful ❤. I have a consultation tomorrow (well this afternoon since it’s already Friday 😅) if I can get these kinky twists down and wash my hair. Your description says combed locs? Is that a specific term or just general locs because they use a comb to coil? I really like how yours came out with the frizz. I thought I wanted 2 strand twists but your style is exactly what I’m looking for.

Hi! I don't know if you're gonna see this, but should I get locks? I've always loved braids but have been super tender-headed, so I was thinking of them as permanent braids- I love the styles and think they are so cute! BUTT I have damaged hair from trying to make it straight with heat and lots of relaxers. It would help me heal my hair and keep some of my culture with me instead of trying to hide it with chemicals.

@@Chaos.9-9 Hi!! I think you should definitely give it a try. Especially since you’re always in braids. I did a big chop before getting my locs so check with someone who does locs to see how your locs will be on relaxed hair. I love that you want to embrace your natural hair and culture ❤️

Ik this video old but I started my loc journey a month ago comb coil method my hair stays in the coil but my roots kinda untangle. Havent been getting them misted maybe twice and use rosemary oil every two days. Is this okay or am i doing something wrong

I recently got my hair styled for the first time with locs. In two weeks, I will officially be five months loc’d. I did the two strand twist method to start my locs and I installed them myself. I wish that my parts had a pattern, but they are all over the place and I think my locks will be different sizes because of it. Nonetheless, it’s my journey and I love getting my hair freshly twisted because it’s so beautiful. Anyway, I love your locs and hope that you post new content very soon

How do u maintain tht butterfly loc/lil frizzy look?

If you like the frizzy full look I noticed that the loc girlies who have them don’t locksmith as much, don’t palm roll all the way down, & don’t do retwists often! Ofc you can also avoid brushing them, when they’re mature, but sometimes brushing helps from not too MUCH frizz. Also, keep them hydrated as much as possible ☺️
