For me personally the battery life was excellent, it went upto 8-9 days with regular day to day usage.

i slightly over paid for my UK spec yellow s10E 2 years ago. $400 Canadian from ebay. an upgrade from free J3 (2016). did go for the yellow one in particular and rather happy with its performance to this day. medium setting CPU and more than sufficient for use as a phone without trying to max out specs and settings. perfect size too. if you dont care about superb performance and want a good phone then S10E will do just fine for many people.the battery is good for its size. if heavy use then do expect to charge it 2-3 times a day but otherwise holds very well.

The shutter speed, ridiculous, you can literally shake that phone about as fast as you can and the photo will still be ultra sharp, well, as sharp as 3.2mp can give you lol

Thanks for the video. I love my S10e. Its my all time No. 1 phone in size, battery life, photo camera and usability. Recently the volume button of my S10e is broken, so I thought its time for a new phone. Tried an Iphone 16 and a Samsung S24 (EU version without Snapdragon), and was wondering why photos of these high-end devices are looking so much worst and unnatural, compared to the photos of the S10e. Seems the S10e was one of the last phones using camera components in good quality. I have now replaced the broken volume button and will keep my loved S10e, until there will be a similar phone on the market one day.

My guess is refurbished, because the headphones that came with it were very nice initially and those do not look like the headphones I got with mine when it was brand new. However, I do want to get myself a v20 again specifically, so I have that IR blaster and the headphone jack, but I wouldn't use it as a phone, I would use it more as a digital audio player

I'm trying the same thing on an old Xeon Server computer. I was able to install a 2017 version, but have terrible compatibility issues. I can buy a new computer for 400 USD, which already has a stronger CPU, but right now I don't have enough money. I have a Scar 17 Se I9 RTX 3070 TI, but I like working on a Desktop Environment with big screen.

Back when the s10e was new the battery was plenty for me. As they’ve aged it won’t be as good now. I unfortunately couldn’t use one even if I wanted to today because mint mobile doesn’t support e sim and I don’t wanna wait for them to mail me a physical sim and pay for a sim.

Currently watching this on my moms old s10e that I traded her for my newer samsung. Ive been using this for 2 years and its maybe my favorite smartphone I've ever had. Every app works well, I can play pretty heavy games without much lag or performance issue. Battery life is good, I thought the battery was poor, but turns out my charger just sucked. The camera, storage, and display are great and compare to all my friends' newer smartphones. The only downside imo is random network issues. I get less bars than my friends in more rural areas, and some apps take a while to load if I'm not connected to wifi, especially my vanced youtube. It's probably the only reason I would currently consider getting a new phone. But for now, Im very happy with this phone and will likely keep it until it literally breaks apart.

You did not mention one of the best features it had- a fast mechanical shutter. I had fun taking pictures of water drops and bouncing things. The fast shutter stops things in the air. I think it was the first ever phone that utilized a mechanical shutter. It also had a variable aperture, but both the shutter and aperture are automatic so there was no manual control on the camera app.

My friends used to call this phone “the brick” lmao my sister and I each got the lavender one on release day. It was the first phone we didn’t have to share. I still have mine and I often think about switching back to a “dumb” phone and this is the one I would choose.

This was my phone back in the day. I loved this thing! Full keyboard. Front screen. Music controls on the front. I remember sprint had sprint tv back then too. You could watch tv on this thing! I don’t know about bad reviews but for me this phone was great back then. It was unique. More than can be said for phones nowadays.

The absolute best laptop I've ever had, I still have it, just in case! I was looking for a new/faster one...but when I see the chassis on the new ones (ALL of them) it's just garbage! Just look at all the different interfaces/connections...it's just insane, compared to modern junk with built in battery and other madness, many of the new ones don't even have RJ45, for network cable connection, wtf? The new chassis are pure garbage compared to what Dell designed here, I also SEE clearly all the status LED:s, I don't have to look at the side (wtf?) IF there's a LED at all. And look at all the Media buttons...AND the DVD-RW!!! which it (mine) has. All the manufacturers ruined everything, to gain a few grams and millimeters...I just wish it has all the faster stuff and a new display, after 16! years. Will the new and expensive junk-laptops work for such a long time...I doubt it, lol.

I've been eyeing the S23 for a while now as a replacement for my old S10e. I first bought it for a girlfriend. I compared them side by side and was amazed. Apart from longer battery life, the S23 offered me nothing more or even less (3.5mm jack, SD card). So now I don't know if the S10e is such an exceptionally good phone or the S23 is so average for its time. I don't understand videos that "praise" new phone models every year because of such small differences. Sorry Samsung, but your new phones with unreasonable price tags are out of the question for me.

I don't find the swipe gesture as pixel much genuine. I prefer the swipe from bottom with 3 buttons hidden (with Goodlock Samsung app). So much simpler and faster.

S10e... To me the best looking and feeling smartphone in one hand. It was just perfect fit. Camera great. Cpu too. Screen etc. I had to change 'coz I was gaming at the time and also' coz the battery life was very bad... I miss it very much!
