It was so awesome that Graham Nash told this great story from Graham Gouldman. Graham Gouldman not only was a co founder of 10cc, the biggest hit he wrote for 10 cc was "I'm Not In Love". He also wrote "The Things We Do For Love" along with the songs others have mentioned here. Graham Gouldman is also in the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. Things like this is what makes KZbin so special. It brings so many amazing pieces of history back to life, as well as educating people on such a diverse range of subjects.

This was about 2 weeks before Duane 'Ace' Allen lost his beautiful wife Nora Lee Allen. She passed away on Easter Sunday morning! Sympathy for the ones loss to the Oakridge Boys! May they rest in peace.

@@cathyl2338 I have regrets too. I saw them in the 80s but lost track of them for a long time. I started obsessively going to their concerts again in 2017 but I wish now that it had been sooner.

Props to Graham for taking the lower part and letting the other guy do his high part. A man's got to know his limitations. And it worked great!

This song played in the Police style sounds empty, it needs the rest of the instruments. Stings always thought that any song for the simple reason that he’s in front playing it’s going to sound right

"Ode to Billie Joe" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bobbie Gentry released by Capitol Records in July 1967, and later used as the title-track of her debut album. Five weeks after its release, the song topped Billboard's Pop singles chart. It also appeared in the top 10 of the Adult Contemporary and Hot R&B singles charts, and in the top 20 of the Hot Country Songs list. Roseanne said they hold this song up as a standard!

A little bit more credit was deserved for Graham Gouldman. He, Eric Stuart, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley as 10cc were absolutely enormous in the 1970's and its a crying shame they broke up.

The kid he was talking about who wrote the songs was none other than Graham Gouldman who later was a founding member of 10CC.

Don't know what the story about the boy is intended to be. Graham has great pipes, still.
@1401minstrelАй бұрын
"The boy" was the person who wrote "Look Through Any Window" and "Bus Stop," and Graham was recalling the conversation with him in which he asked Graham and Allen Clarke to record those two songs.
