This is freaky. I had a detective NPC based off of a certain streamer in my game, and her assistant was named Bubbles. My players thought it was based off of Agent Bubbles from Lilo and Stitch, but it was meant to be her dog.

I'd wager that the dog was always Bubbles and Bubba is just a shortened version of that.

It could just be that the names are so similar that they sound the same to the dog, so the dog responds to both.

His name was probably Bubba even before but I guess she decided to change it to something that sounds similar enough for the dog while being distinct enough from the previous channel mascot.

The names are close enough that they'd probably sound the same to the dog, so the dog would respond to both. In that sense, it probably doesn't matter.

It was always Bubbles. She may have also shortened it to bubba on occasion before hololive, but I've only seen the two old sachi clips where she calls him Bubbles.

holy hell I haven't heard that song in probably over a decade. Where is it from? Circa 17:15? I'm vaguely reminded of some "movies" from the late 90s/early 2000s that were just flythroughs of basic CGI environments while music played. But it's been so long I can't remember.

Raora did a sniffa on the Chattini a while back, so if she can sniffa us, then it's only fair that we can do the same back. She probably smells of cotton candy or bubble gum with that pink hair of hers. She's a cat, and they usually but not always smell pretty good most of the time anyway.
