Honestly, there's not a factual "best" hero. They're all good in their way and it just heavily depends on the deck. For example, Counter-tron is one of the best decks, but there aren't many good Citron decks. Every Guardian hero is good too since Guardian is completely and utterly busted. But all of them still have their weaknesses. CC's repeat moss can be countered by gravestones, guardian is countered by control, smash is countered by mega grow etc. Again, it just depends on how lucky you get, your deck and the opponent's deck.

Let me get this straight, it doesn’t matter what is the most powerful hero it depends on YOUR play stile like me I play night cap for his hi damage from the kabloom class and having amphibious and freezing the opponents zombies with the smarty class it all comes down to your play style and strategies, sure there are some overpowered zombies and plants that certain hero’s don’t have but you can still make a good deck from the class of plants that is your play style
