That’s understandable. I had heard that the retail version isn’t the best. We are going to give classic a go today as I have been told that classic anniversary realms is the best one currently so going to give that a go.

As others said, Classic is best. Someone mentioned not to use questie since you're reading the quests. Don't put yourself through that. Use questie (everyone does) and you can still read and enjoy the quest text. Looking forward to seeing your first classic experience.

Try Classic, it is way less confusing and better paced than retail

Sounds like it will be a fun time to me. Installed and ready to go. VOD for it will be up Friday as normally I tend to leave 48ish hours between the live stream and uploading the video for it.

Will do if that’s what you would like. I’m also going to ask the dumb question of is the addon questie something that reads out the stuff for you? And also is it a setting that I need to turn off?

You can change in game controls for hollowknight. I do quite a bit. R2 is attack for me, x is jump, square is map, circle is focus

Thank you for letting me know I can change controls in game. I just defaulted to using my super meat boy profile as it was quick to activate then realised not the best idea just needed a controller where the X button works😅
