I am hoping you can help a poor gal who just can't seem to get this. It appears to me at 3:47 in the video you are working on the back side of the piece but when you jump to finishing the row a few second later you are working on the right side of the cozy circle? Am I to turn the piece at some point in row four? Thank you so much.

Thank you for this tutorial! I knitted a hat for my son’s girlfriend, who we hope will one day be his fiancé! She has alopecia, so she is bald, and she needs a little extra warmth as well as a soft layer between her skin and the wool hat itself, which might be a tad itchy. I felted a thrifted cashmere sweater to line her hat.

I’ve made so many of these and I myself and everyone I have gifted LOVES them. I’ve used all kinds of yarns, one of my fav being velvet yarns. If you use velvet, keep your tension tight. Thank you for this pattern!!!! So easy and fast.

Looking for a pattern with the standard wool ease yarn 4 medium weight. I'm guessing thia is worsted weight based on the comments but don't see a link to the pattern. Please help me find it. Love the video

Very Interesting ❤I found it a little surprising bcuz I have always used Cozies pretty much based on the look of it & gripping my drinks better. Found that they were keeping my a bit cooler or hot longer, but never really paid it any attention. Now that you have shown us. I knew there was a reason why I have been using cozies! 😅❤Thank You for sharing! ❤

Can you line a ribbed hat because I’m not sure if it would stretch then.
@sharilanglois57297 күн бұрын
I am on the band but it seems way too big. Did you slip stitch into one stitch at the the end of the same row and then a new stitch or 2 new stitches? Maybe we arent supposed to do the ribbing for every stitch around the hat?

If you make your first row of single crochets for row 6 back loop only, it will make it look more like a cylinder instead of just a rounded lump on the bottom!

You have a very soothing voice and you make it very clear. I don’t particularly care for this stitch though I just finished one doing a half double crochet all the way across turn and just keep repeating the half double crochet and it came out really nice I also like that you don’t play music in the background.

So I made this and I do like the body stitch pattern but the brim ended up being very loose and looks odd. I used the 6.5 hook but it seems like it should have had a few decreases to make the brim tighter. Anyone else have this issue as well?

First timer, I like to make it for a 6 yr old girl, did 7 rounds as per the pattern but feels like its forming the crown and shaping already, may not be big enough of the head width. How do I know if I have enough rows before tapering down with the smaller hook ?
@prettydarnadorable8 күн бұрын
I have added more sizes to the pattern on my blog. I think you should head over there and follow the written pattern because this one is tricky to increase. Hope this helps the link that is in the description to the written pattern.

I was looking for a ponytail beanie specifically as I have a tester that asked for one. My bands are too tight, so for this first try, I made a big MR, subbing for the band & I'm using double strands of #4 worsted weight, subbing for the bulky yarn. Ill let you know how it turns out.
