There is a photo that I have seen in numerous books on WW1 and WW2 of a road in I think Belgium or Northern France of a 2-lane country road lined with trees and by the look of it both photos may have taken from the same spot. The photos show German troops on their way to the front. If you know of the photo that I'm talking about are in the area, could you go there and compare the two photos with now?

Are the troops marching or is it armoured vehicles as I’m thinking of a certain one with Tigers heading to Normandy but not sure if it’s the same thing
@JamesHillman-sirzethioКүн бұрын
@@WW2Wayfinder The WW1 photo was of troops marching and I think the WW2 photo was of tanks, possibly Tigers

Those men were lucky 21 million soviets died so they could cake walk thru a depleted werhrmacht if AH hadn't stupidly opened up a 2 front war the Swastika would be flying over every capitol in Europe to this day though Hitler wouldn't of lasted he had a deteriorating heart according to his Dr Theodore Morrell.

As others have noted Steve McQueen s friend and favorite Motorcycle Shop Owner Bud Ekins did the big jump and that last wipeout into the barbed wire. Steve and Bud also doubled as the German Soldiers chasing “Hilts The Cooler King” all over Bavaria. All motorcycle riders have their own unique style of riding like Baseball players have their own Batting Stsnce. Next time you watch see which of the German soldiers is McQueen riding.

It’s amazing that 80 years later the buildings look almost exactly how they did. What is the original age of the buildings? Some especially the post office you showed looks like it was built back in the three musketeer days.😳
