Is the raptor kit better than the trd eaton kit?

When I was looking at all the kits available at the time, the Raptor kit made more power with less heat soak and for substantially less cost

Great drive mate! I have a question about the last video you made "SOLID AXLE HILUX BUILD". I read the comments you sold it but myself and other subscribers wanted to know: 1- Total length of the brake lines (front and rear)? 2- Length of the custom driveshaft to make sure the shaft doesn't come out? I don't have access to a forklift or a ramp to take the measurements. Thank you!
@HaydnKamp20 күн бұрын
Thanks mate! Best idea is to work out brake line lengths and tail-shaft lengths on each vehicle specifically as things can vary. I didn’t use a forklift to work this out as I just got the Ute on tall jack stands and removed the wheels to drop the diff to full droop to take measurements

Also, can you please share the measurements of the brake lines and driveshaft? I wan to collect the parts now to prepare for it 😁 Is it safe to assume that the new length of the long slip driveshaft will be equal to how ever much the axle is pushed forward?

This video couldn't have come in a better time! I am about to pick up my first Hilux (LN65) in Portugal and I'm trying to gather knowledge on how to best make it perform. Coming from a KZJ70, one thing I've come to realize is finding information for the LN65 is not as easy as the 70 haha. I am looking forward to see what your setup will be for the rear shocks! Any new Videos? One more question, What air lockers fit in the LN65? Would you use the RD132 for both front and rear? Am I safe to assume the front will be the same as the LN61? 10 bolt Live axle? And the rear 45mm Bearing ID? oh, and I'd love to see brake upgrade options using factory parts. Cheers mate

Didn’t make a massive difference offroad as I mainly try to crawl things and never really fed it unless things where slick, and in that case wheel speed was never an issue 😅
