Danke für das hilfreiche Video. Wie führt man im PVsol eine Schattenberechnung durch und wird der Horizont, sprich die Berge berücksichtigt?

I expected something professional from PV*SOL. Importing 3D models from Google Earth is ridiculous. The actual creation of 3D models in PV*SOL is very imprecise. "Professional" design of a PV system then has gross shortcomings. I am testing the 2023 premium version and I am very dissatisfied.

Not every place on the map has a 3D visualization! Absolutely unusable for normal use. It's good for playing, it's impossible for work.

Hello, thank you for your tutorial was very interesting but can it be used on a much larger scale. For example to a site contexts, which would cover the city centre of bristol?
@solarengineer69075 жыл бұрын
You can use Pix4D doing that, but PV*SOL ist very limited.

Hi! Thanks a lot for the Video. I have a small problem with the imported model in pv sol. It is plain white. It has no texture, no colors. In the Pix4D project folder there is a file named texture.jpg but apparently it is not imported into py sol as well... could you help me with that problem? Thanks a lot!

already found the solution, reduce the pixels of your pix4d file in the settings from 8960x8960 to 4096x4096 or somewhat option.

@thefunframe79128 жыл бұрын
i just created a building, just wanted to copy that buildinf next to it, then i clicked right and the copy menu appears, but it seems i cannot finnish the command, it doesn¡t mind where do i click later, i have no other option left than to terminate the command, and therfore not get any copy of the original buiding. this explanatin of the command is horrible. it doesn't work. building is empty, still no modules on its roof. iclick in the object, i click in the terrain and nothing works. i cannot drag either. this is bullshit!.
@solarengineer69078 жыл бұрын
No problem: You have to drag and drop it from the button in this copy dialog like you do when you drag a new 3D object. Do it like here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/paWuXqign9dkiZom24s And please note, I only do the tutorials. They have a forum to ask such questions and they have a hotline, too. They will help you! And make shure you have the right version. www.valentin-software.com/

this is the biggest pile of trash of explanation about how the command copy works that i have seen in my life. I have lost like half of the day trying to figure out how it works, and it is just because the point 7 has the strangest explanation that i have seen in my life. by the way, it is not intuitive at all, and something that is not intuitive should be much better explained. this is how it should be explained instead: instead of: "7.-With the mouse pointer, pull the copy from the cable surface in the lower portion of the window" , it should say: 7.-if you look under the part of the command window where it is written "drag and drop the following object:", you will see a highlighted rectangle with the drawing of a house and the words "building" next to it. Now that you found it, and With the mouse pointer, click on that aforementioned rectangle or bar, AND WIHTOUT RELEASING THE BUTTON, (you will realize that you are doing it right because the rectangle will glow red now) move the mouse pointer into the drawing area. Now, fucking magically, when the pointer of the mouse leaves the command square area, you will be dragging an object at the pointer, which is the copy you pretended to have. Release the button of the mouse now, wherever you want to place your copy, within the drawing area. And that is the way how point 7 should be written so any dumbass including myself, may understand it. seriously, what the fuck means "pull the copy from the cable surface in the lower portion of the window" cable what cable? cable the superhero? electricity cable? cable surface? the plastic layer of the electricla cables when you peel then. what the fuck, seriously? and the lower portion of the window. which window? portion of a cake? ... Who the fuck translated this. sure it was a philologist, not an engineer, that's for sure. Really i wanted to chop the head off the guy who wrote this instruction. seriously no fucking teaching skills, and the wasted time.

Yes, you are right. I didn't see it!! Sorry, that I gave you this link. It only was, because you said that they have no help and they have.. and it is it :) Sorry. I think point 7 is an additional advice for copiing cables in the cable plan. But I will mail them to change this passage of the help.

thanks for understanding my extreme frustration. And thanks for answering. seriously there was no way at all to do it. this happens when what all a company have to show how their software works is a list of functions, and not a proper manual, or a proper how to... adressing the different ways about how to do or achieve something. as it happens with PVSOL. i think they should also post more videos in KZbin.
