Even in BDII no one seems to recognize nor acknowledge Ringabel and Alternis as the same person. Even though they are, just different personality.

I've only played the demo of the first one but when you get attached to a character, you get the same feeling as someone who's already been all the way through the game. So watching gameplay and seeing him come out of nowhere with that music drove me nuts
