Enjoyed your video and that you stumbled on Gyldene Freden. Itś a cultural icon, opened in 1722 itś one of the oldest restaurants in the world that still is in the same location. Very popular amongs musicians, amongs the regulars where Jussi Björling (Pavarottis idol) and so many other swedish music legends. Itś now owned by Svenska Akademin who awards the Nobel prize in literature

The Old Town and the southern hills are places in Stockholm where you can get a special feeling for history. Stockholm is the pearl of Sweden, the Venice of the North. I didn't know you could go up the city hall tower. The Nobel Prizes are awarded in that building.

Thank you for a lovely visual depiction of Stockholm in the late summer/early autumn! The days might be growing shorter, but the summer warmth and greens are still present. Regarding the restaurant you sort of "chanced" upon, it is a truly legendary institution! "Den Gyldene Freden" has been located on the same spot in Gamla Stan since 1722, and is most famous for being one of the places Carl Michael Bellman hung out in the 1700s, and is referenced in several of his famous songs. The building where it resides is own by The Swedish Academy (the same one that awards the Nobel Prize in Literature) and they have a long-standing tradition of dining there every Thursday. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Den_gyldene_freden

It is not correct that the sun never sets. The sun doesn’t set for some weeks in the summer in the Arctic. It’s called midnight sun.

@AnneLisbeth yes, I actually mentioned it in the video about midnight sun and filmed the Timelapse of sunset and sunrise:)The sun visually “seems” like it never set (the sky never gets dark). However, I used this as a way to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity, especially for viewers who might not be familiar with the exact term ‘midnight sun’. Hope this clarifies.

If you wish to wear those fluffy hats, just come visit Tallinn's Christmas market. Just note, that you need warm clothes and you only get few hours of daylight during winter.
