How is this electron beam deflection related to Special Relativity theory since Einstein said 2 wires don't attract themselves magnetically but because Electrostatic charge seen by the electrons in the other wire as they move near C through the wire?

Why physics is so hard? Because the instructors who present it often lack clarity. They struggle to elucidate concepts effectively. This is the foolishness of science. The foundation of the USA is religion, not science. That's why the nation is so successful. It's prayers, not experiments of science.

Algebra isn’t gonna help me solve this damn boundary value problem laplacian lol. He’s right though, the biggest thing that makes physics hard for me is not knowing the math well enough already before encountering it in a problem. Cuz then it feels like I’m just learning how to do the math for that problem specifically instead of the general math that could solve any problem that requires something similar.

It is easier than chemistry though. at least you have a solid set of laws and formulas you can use to apply to situations and it makes logical sense. Chemistry has so much damn memorization. its too abstract.

How come I don't see this day to day with my phone charger or lamp/appliance cords? I imagine it'd also cause problems in the electrical work in your walls, although I don't know much about what that looks like. I'm also wondering if the loops on coils might be attracted to one another because of this.

Yes, coils fell compression, extension - good insight! BUT, to see it you need to pass a large current. I think this was about 10 Amps.

Hey! I'll have you know that that intern has got colleagues and research collaborators in every college and university from here to the Sudetenland, is fluent in a dozen interpretations of quantum mechanics, knows all about local causality. He'll blend in (among academics), disappear (after filming is complete), you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's solved the equation and 'made' full professor already. 😄

Sheeple personalities can't understand physics, because it requires analytical thinking. Sheeple are typically able to memorize phrases (this duplicate the bleating of sheep in a herd) but cannot apply the concepts because they do not understand them.
@musicteacher5757

EVEN WORSE: when the sheeple herd's consensus contradicts the laws of physics, sheeple's social instincts will force them to support the consensus. = men are women are men. Black conservatives are "white". Wealthy liberals claim that only conservatives are "wealthy", and wealthy liberals are never "wealthy".

The sonic boom wasn't as loud as i thought it would be. The sound of the engines seemed louder. Did the audio capture that accurately?
@Prof-Hafner
@Prof-Hafner Ай бұрын
I thought the same thing when I heard the recording. It was much louder in person. You could hear it and kind of feel like a puff of wind. The phone Camera set up I use blocks the mic. I separately recorded the audio on my watch and there the boom was very loud. If I get around to it, I might make a version that uses my watch audio.

This was total bullshit. In physics calculus is just a tool. One among many. If you think physics is dominated by calculus, then you don't understand the first thing about physics.

@@Prof-Hafner I love well made physics videos. This one wasn't it. To suggest to students who are already struggling with physics that "it's the calculus stupid" is ridiculous. Students are struggling with high school physics because at this level physics consists of a small number of very important and VERY lawyerly definitions that one has to learn to appreciate. There is no calculus in the definition of work. It's force times displacement. There is no calculus in the definition of force as that which accelerates a mass. Neither is there any calculus in the definition of energy as the ability of a system to perform work on another system. What most students fail to understand there is the system concept and that in physics we are expressing complex phenomena involving one or multiple systems through simple phenomena that are defined through other systems (the most simple ones being rules and clocks etc.). Are you sure you ever understood yourself what it actually is that you are trying to teach here? You are NOT a glorified applied calculus teacher.

Hi Professor I had a question. We know that centripetal accel. is always pointing into the circle. So if radial accel. = - centripetal wouldn't that mean radial accel is always pointing outside? But then at the end of the video when analyzing the acceleration at different points the radial accel is pointing inwards, meaning it's the same vector as centripetal? But they have to be opposite?

So the answer is "Physics is hard because math is hard." Well... then why is math hard?
@lepidoptera9337
@lepidoptera9337 Ай бұрын
It isn't. Most people are simply not interested in math, so they don't practice as much as they would have to to get good at it. It's no different from playing the banjo. If you don't practice until your hands are bleeding, then you will never be a good banjo player.
